korakora, 25 Dec 2011Should I buy Lg optimus one or samsung galaxy y? 01 has 512... moreno, you cannot play hd 3d games on those phones, the both cpu and gpu are too weak. if you want to play 3d games on a single core phone you need at least a 1ghz hummingbird a8 or a 1ghz snapdragon.

guys i m using galaxy mini.bt nw i hav made a decision to sell it.i was fully satisfied wit mini bt nw selling cause in my country optimus 1 is 1k cheaper than mini for which i can easily get autofocus cam.bt i hav to be sure abt smethings.i hav played nova QVGA,dead space QVGA in mini without problem.can they be played in O1?as this is a must. how about the battery bakup? i hav heard o1 user's r facing problems with gb update which drains their battery.is it true?i m using gb without prob which is much better than froyo.it has nt only boosted performance bt also battery bkup.it will be painful if i m unable to use GB.

here is an xpert review:
pros :
1.complete package
2.good custom rom, kernel etc. support from 3rd party developers [tons of them]
3. gingerbread update [battery backup is not great in gingerbread compared to older froyo version.. so i am still using froyo]
4.camera has tons of features and good picture quality. it lacks flash so dark pictures have noise like all other phones lacking flash
5.HVGA display is sharp compared to other phones in this budget [samsung galaxy series, HTC wildfire etc]
6.sound is gr8 and loud from loudspeaker which is located on front instead of back
7.tuff build quality, dropped 6-7 times from 4 feet and not a single scratch
cons:
1. axis inversion bug [watch youtube video,for this] but it does not make any prob in multitouch or pinch to zoom
2.touch bug [totally resolved in new kernels, and new models come with new kernels, u can install custom kernel too for big boost in performance]
3.dirt inside screen problem [new models released after nov 2010 comes with filter, mine is oct 2010 model]
so all phones being sold today have only axis inversion bug, [rarely creates any issue while operating]
both screen dirt and touch bug are solved in new models
for those who want to play HD games, this phone is not for you. this or any phone with 600mhz processor and screen resolution of 480X320/320X240 cannot play HD games.
u need atleast 800mhz processor and 800X480 resolution to play HD games
and those who are disappointed that this phone cant play HD videos and cant recond HD videos., can they name any phone in Rs.10000 budget which can record and play HD videos?? for HD videos , go buy SE xperia neo V for 17k
IMP: DONT BUY THIS PHONE NOW. AS ITS ALREADY REPLACED BY LG OPTIMUS NET

Should I buy Lg optimus one or samsung galaxy y? 01 has 512mb RAM and 600mhz cpu where galaxy y has 290mb RAM and 830mhz cpu. Which is important for playing hd games, cpu or ram? Can I play hd games like n.o.v.a/modern combat on this without custom rom? Will I face any problem installing software because of screen resolution?

[deleted post]Ya its a gud phone with al features but camera is quite bad and video camera is vga u cant watch hd videos. u can get apps and use go launcher go widget etc. i dont think the game which u asked "nova" cannot play as it is not supported for phone. As a smartphone for less price its really affordable.

tan, 23 Dec 2011hey i m wishing to buy this phn.sme1 plz tell me about the ... moreit is 8/10 for graphics in case of Video Playing , 8/10 for Video Shoot as it has VGA 640p recording Capability , 7.5/10 camera as No flash is there . 6.5/10 for games as it is Entry Level cellphone . Performance is excellent and YES it is better than GALAXY FIT and POP in any case ! It has good hardware quality which u can't get in GALAXY version of Samsung .
