I am using p500.1month back i have been updated to 2.3.3 v20c .now i am facing 2 problems.
1. if i enable data(2g) it is not enable .i need to restart it once again.but some times it is working.
2.some times it is switching off automatically.i.e night it is working (90% battery) morning it is in switch off state , and also it is not powering on i need remove battery and restart again.
i am using tatadocomo network.please give me some solution .

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2011Pls can someone urgently tell me if this phone is beta than... morehope u have not bought a phone for your girl yet. Optimus one is any day better than Galaxy mini. you will have to shell out a few extra bucks for this one but its worth every penny.

I just had my P500 about 2 weeks ago.
All well and good until i started downloading movies and a couple of games and apps on them via the Android market. Now, im experiencing a lot of LAG on the messages only. :(
what can i do? I heard that you can download ROM or update kernel but how do i do it?
Do i download them directly from the phone? what's the site?
I tried google-ing it through my phone but its not showing anything. Am loosing hope,. But i love this phone. Can someone help this newbie here? :'(

I bought the phone and its automatically at 2.3.3 Gingerbread. So, im not quite sure how i can work around this problem.

successfully 7 months completed using OPTIMUS ONE... SUPER ANDROID MIDRANGE GADGET... ANDROID made my optimus a MAGIC PHONE...hurry up guy's who are still in dilemma for a midrange smartphone... bcoz already production stopped... releasing other models..

celine, 18 Dec 2011which one is better lg optimus one or samsung galaxy fit???galaxy fit is good but it has 65K color screen and lcd lack of contrast and brightness compared to LG ...else it is good phone and recommended over O1 if getting it in price lower than O1. else O1 will be proven much better.

remember i asked about random hang ... moreHello , read threads over there . But i got the solution . i was right ..as much i know the reason behind this is Network Problem . Not sure but yes in my case , 99% network problem was there. Actually i was using Aircel Sim which was getting TATA DOCOMO network those days ..so after after few months , AIRCEL got its network and TATA DOCOMO network now turns to AIRCEL on AIRCEL sim itself. I shocked ..i mean i amazed seeing the hanging problem disappeared . after few days i noticed that yes..TATA docomo was not there and due to AIRCEL network itself , the problem resolved . So i found TATA DOCOMO was the problem and TATA DOCOMO sim was also misbehaving with TATA DOCOMO signal . So try change your network simcard with airtel or Vodafone and check if ur problem is still there .
And yes i have also removed the Facebook Widget from desktop and moved the app from system to SD Card . If anyone there saying its app problem, then try remove all the apps to sd card .

remember i asked about random hang problem of our beloved O1. Got a possible solution at a different site. need ur help to cross check it since u have also the same problem. After following that post my O1 is running for last 170 hrs.

Just upgraded my mobile from 2.2 to 2.3, and found its eating my mobile battery (Going only for 1/2 a day). Does anyone have idea why its like that, actually after upgrading it should be improved :(?

my LG p500 is not working well when I make a call. Screen goes black when I make a call n cannot cut the call use it till the whome i have called cuts the callI have formated my cell n even
memory card. still facing same problem but now the frequency of screen going blackout have gone down

Good screen, 3,15 camera takes poor pictures. It doesn't have blitz, so is useless at night. The internet conection is also poor, it takes forever to load (even on wifi). Suports almost anything on android market. Fast response on touch. Sound is ok.

mikemd, 17 Dec 2011how can i upgrade my android 2.3 to the 2.3 version...Download the LGMobile update software from the website, install it, connect the phone, it will tell you if that there is a new version available, and you choose to install it. The phone will enter emergency mode, don't disconnect it whatever you do. it will take a while to update. it will look like it stopped. The software will tell you when the update is finished. I am running 2.3.3 on mine, the latest one. Good luck

Its just a software (Talking Tom) in Android market and can be downloaded by any android set........... Samsung has huge publicity commercials but LG phones give better features at lesser rate.....
