This is my first android experience... mine has 2.3 on it... The UI is fluid and fast... BUT nobody told me that in android, apps Run AUTOMATICALLY on the background and i read somewhere that if you use a task killer app will drain your battery even more... Thats a weird way of multitasking... Apps running? and i never found any exit buttons on any apps that i have downloaded... kinda weird since i am a former symbian and blackberry user before I bought this phone... over all cool apps... great phone for such a cheap price :D I think ill buy optimus black next.. its soo sexy... :D

Krishna, 29 Nov 2011I go the same problem and also some apps cant be transfered... morei have read somewhere else the same prob of some other users too ..well i think solution was carried on xda development forum and can be resolved . may be m not correct bt in Messages settings go to manage sim card messages ...clean your sim card inbox there and your phone messages too. see if problem is resolved . bt before you do this take all of your sms backup from titanium backup pro or any other app . otherwise visit to xda developer forum and check there

It got even better when I Upgraded to Cyanogenmod 7..
A very very Good Phone.. Buck by buck the best android phone in its price range.. :)

ive been using LG mobile phones for 10years all i can say is you better see it yourself guys.. LG is not racing against other products and companies they after for being a brand of choice not a brand of names.. all of their products are unique,customers friendly and affordable high end gadget.. more powers LG!

LG promises it is exploring its options for bringing the Android 4.0 to some older Optimus smartphones too. So there is a tiny chance the Optimus One and Optimus Chic might get some Ice Cream Sandwich treatment as well.

After reading the recent post on GSMArena, do you guys really think that LG will consider Optimus One for ICS?

While switch on the mobile initially it's shows memory... moreNot exactly the same but ya take some time after reboot for complete use . no such error message appears ,instead it shows checking for errors and then take some time until all widgets and apps loaded with system data. so no problem at all. Try backing up all the system and user app and data then make a full backup of memorycard using mass storage and format the memory card from your phone under storage option in settings. restore everything . rest will be fine
