Hence decided to share my experience....
After gingerbread update i too felt the reduced battery backup but found a way...
Now im getting 4 days backup straight with moderate usage...

Also, every smartphone has got battery problem. You need at least a 2500 mAh battery to satisfy you needs. As far as your friends are concerned with Ace it depends on usage pattern also that how long your battery lasts. I assure you that if 1500 mAh runs for 2 days then 1350 mAh will definitely run for 1.5 days.
2. Again, Processor is more powerful in Ace than LG P500.
3. Again, Camera in Ace is better than LG P500.
4. Again, I feel screen is much better with 16M colors and size 3.5 inches in Ace than in LG P500.
If you have to choose between 3.5 inch 16M 165 ppi vs 3.2 inch 256K 180 ppi most people will go for bigger size and better color.
5. Any third party app can play the formats u mentioned.

If you use your smartphone continuously for browsing on the net it will drain in few hours. Using 3G, Wifi, GPS on your phone also consume too much battery power. Playing Games also drain the battery more.
Many apps keep running in background, so you have to manage your apps smartly. Use 3G, Wifi and GPS only when needed.

So ur battery life increased. Apps are battery suckers.
Instead of format if u close/kill all active apps before keeping it in standby it would increase ur battery life.

Then I though why dont I format the memoery card as it was a 8 gb card and there was data upto 7.5gb and lots of application installed,,
I formatted the card and thankfully the issue is resolved ann now I am getting back my old battery backup of 1.5 days
I dont know it has got any logic but it helped me so thot will share it with u

Hi Guys, any apps for viewing google map in p500? I use big planet and cannot show the google map.....
