At least its screen is in a "normal" (for Android) orientation (even if only QVGA).

                        http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-07-18/gadgets-special/29786810_1_optimus-one-sim-android-hvga-screen

The LG Optimus Net has a 3.2-inch HVGA screen like the Optimus One, other upgrades include NFC capabilities, DLNA support, and most crucially, a dual SIM version for Brazil, China, Asia, and the CIS.

Both the phones have a 1500mAh battery and an 800 MHz CPU. Last we checked, there are only a couple of weak dual SIM Android options in India at the opposite ends of the price spectrum, so the Optimus Net should find lot of takers.

Not sure about dual active status :-(

Seems good phone but need confirmation on "dual active" feature.. else it will be just another "dual stand-by" type phone

it says here it's android 2.3.3, but when I checked the phone it's only 2.3.2

This could have been better if LG placed atleast HVGA (320x480) screen resolution and 512MB ROM/RAM. I will surely buy 1 if that's the case.

As far as the 3G HSDPA speed is concerned, this is a step backwards compared to the LG Optimus One.

The LG Optimus One has HSDPA speed of 7.2 Mbps. This phone, along with the LG Optimus Net, has a speed of 3.6 Mbps.

A good smartphone with qwerty. Screen size could be larger and better with 5mp camera. Nice design.
