Well,LG ruins this phone,it’s not a decent smartphone in every year,I tried to use it as my daily driver and it’s perfor is extremely horrible,Lag af in almost every game,camera locked the HDR feature,also there is no EIS so the picture is ridiculous,btw you can buy a phone with a Snapdragon 625 chip in this price point,so don’t waste time on this phone......

Using this phone since october. It is a good phone but it misses on many features that phones like xiomi note 4 were providing at a cheaper cost.
Some of the features missing are:
IR ballaster
Screen mirroring. Yes it can't be connected to the tv whereas my xiaomi note prime can! (A 3yr old phone). Come on LG how can you miss it!
Fingerprint sensor
A better camera would really be appreciated.
Hope someone from LG reads it.

yes, I am getting Oreo update now, but update file is bigger, so, make sure you have fully charged your device. Check your update page from settings.

It doesn't matter, if you would like to realise the phones late. It doesn't matter if you don't want to stay competetive. It doesn't matter that you would like to lag behind in every department of your competitors. All we want is regular security update for this phone as well as a quick upgrade to Andriod Oreo (After all Andriod P is now round the corner). Shame on your LG!! Lost all the trust in you as a brand.

They are saying that the Q6 no get update to Oreo.
The phone is released in august 2017 and will not update to oreo to bad :( and why not. ??

The latest security patch is of December 2017.
This is disappointing considering that the Samsung J1 Mini Prime (a VERY low end phone) has just released the March 2018 security patch.
Just disappointing...
Buy a Nokia instead. It's worth more because of the Android One implementation (updates galore).
