What a tough phone from LG. most underrated brand. using recklessly since october 2017 till no issue with speed ,display and camera. just got a problem with vibrator changed it for free.lovely service again,LG rocks !!

Phone is working great after almost 7 days of using.There is no reason to pay for expensive phones.

PKM1, 01 Mar 2018Clear the cache regularly and it will not be slow or hang.Every time when we touch the phone the screen gets refreshed. For example the screen gets refreshed 10 times when we dial a 10 digit phone number. Do you mean to say that I have to clear the cache every time after inputting every single digit when I dial.

Hello readers, many a time I've seen complaints saying the device is slow. The display resolution of LG Q6 is 2160 x
1080 Pixels. But Snapdragon 435 can only support
display resolutions upto 1920 x 1200. The device's display functions through Pixel Upscaling. It is like watching a 720p video
in a 1080p TV. The software algorithm which is
used for this pixel upscaling will always reside in
the memory of the device and will clash with other applications
which would obviously make the device slower. Though it can
be argued that the Snapdragon 435 has multiple
cores it will not function like the x86 cores since
ARM architecture is entirely different and the
Operating System is different. In a Windows desktop
a monitor is an independent entity whereas in a
Android device it forms a subset of the
entity - the device. Moreover, the display of an Android mobile acts not only as an Output device but also as an
Input device through touch. These reasons make
the device slower in all the applications
comparatively.

So it's clear that LG's latest software update brings a bug to the dialer and contacts service on the device. Is there any work around to this while we all wait for a bug fix by LG?

If you believe that the device you bought is slower than the expected and doesn't match the value of what you paid for, please refer to your warranty and contact the device maker's customer support service, as you would do for any other device (appliances, electronics, etc.,).

I wouldnt prefer this phone
Its a beautiful phone, but its not very robust, the back is made from plastic and its very eazy to schratch it, although you are carefully using it, the performance equalls with the galaxy S5 which is not great in 2018, the battery holds for a hole day while playing games, browsing and similar despites the 5.5 inch screen and a little biger resolution then 1080p, cameras are below average,but it has wide camera angle for selfies and a very good image stabilization, but while its night you wont see much on your photos/videos, it has face id but it doesnt work in dark places, no fingerprint sensor,speakers are average,it has 3.5 mm port and the phones software its very good, orderly and eazy to use

This LG Q6 lags all the time, slow to open contacts and get hot, dont think i would buy another one (Singapore)
