I am not a gamer ...just use fb.and other social apps with YouTube. ..should i buy it ....
and either BLACK or Platinum (which one i less prone to scratchs/ looks good)

I am using this LG Q6 phone since 12th October 2017. It's really a good phone. I read in openions that battery life is average. So i used this phone on net means browser continuously non stop. Back whatsapp & facebook was running parallel. To my surprise battery lasted for 5 & 1/2 hrs. Mesns it has not average battery but good battery life.
Also i have dropped my phone twice& that too without back cover. No damage at all.
Last but not least, on 4th Dec 2017, i got wet in rains & unfortunately phone was in my jeans pocket. I was on bike & was wet completely. Still my phone is working absolutely fine. No problems at all. Means this phone is Water Resistance too.
So guys if anyone is interested in going for a phone with looks & descent usage, can go for this phone.

Battery life is average. I hear you get ~ 5hrs of SOT with browsing, whatsapp, fb etc...with brightness about half settings.
One can do these to keep SOT better:
1. use black theme
2. dial *#546368#*700# and turn off MLT/LDB service. Details: http://www.devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/mlt.php
3. Go to Battery usage, check which apps draining most. If its Google Services, Playstore....you can restrict its app permissions...and so on for other not so needed apps.

I bought LG Q6 one month ago and i just realize that the camera are bad! Do not buy. If you don't trust me, you can test this phone to take a picture of table, letters on wall, or shoot number on car plate from a reasonable distance. Your eyes can do better to see the letters or number than this LG Q6 sensor focus. I am too late to realize that.

This phone LG Q6 why it wasn't able to connect to a 5.0 bandwith router it can only connect to a 2.4 bandwith router wifi connection. Why?

+Good battery backup
+great display
+smooth performance (after software updated)
+face print is awesome
-sometime getting hot while watching video/youtube (i think its normal).
-first time i get this phone sometime lagging, but it resolved by software update.
