I have done much homework on the stylo 2 but I did with the original stylo and didnt find anywhere mention it came with so much stuff loaded on it that I couldn't load almost any of my own apps on it. Then when it updated I had to take apps off. Does the stylo 2 have this same problem?

Absolutely love my LG Stylo 2. The pen is fantastic regarding storage & capacitive feedback, with nominal issues for recognition upon first opening app. The subprograms for the pen work incredibly well with the base programs, & offer cross functionality with a number of non-base office function apps, such as Evernote, Adobe reader, & OfficeSuite (All able to be added as extra app options for the "Pop Pen"). The screen display is fantastic in bright sun conditions, & does not overheat quickly in hot surrounding temperature, but will get to burning temps in 85 degree areas within 15mins of moderate to high use. :( Regardless, the processing speed are impressive for such a competitively priced device (I purchased at $430 from Boost) but I still have issue searching Gmail & texts, which will either completely freeze the phone, or not allow me to open results in what feels to be 70% of the time. The camera does not compare to my previous LG Tribute 8gb rom & 1gb ram, SHOCKING, but with the HDR option, quality comes close, & doesn't suffer too much in low light conditions. I found that rooting the phone using traditional poot/ministro fashion required older versions of the releases, but removing the amazon apps & other non-essentials/un-wanteds lowered my inaccessible system from 5.58gb to 3.84gb. This phone has become a great replacement for the blackberry given to me by work, & the subsidy pays for my monthly plan, so the tradeoff is well worth it for anyone seeking to utilize this moderate powerhouse for work & play. If you're a selfie maven or a gamer, Don't Bother. It's great for graphics, but the battery can't keep up, & there is no option for battery swapping, unlike the G4. I give the phone a solid 3.5/5, based of the most recent top release, Samsung G S7.

B man for life, 18 Sep 2016No gyro so you can't use vr mode. Other than that I play al... moreI was very curious about whether or not the LG Stylo 2 had a gyroscope or not. It's very difficult to find this information on the web, so I called LG and was transferred to a developer since regular technical support could not answer my question. I finally received an answer to the long awaited question about the gyroscope... According to an LG developer (who knows just about everything there is to know about the Stylo 2), there IS a gyroscope. He emailed the official specifications to me, and that confirmed that there most certainly is a gyroscope built into the phone. Here is a list of the sensors that the Stylo 2 has: Accelerometer: YES, Digital Compass: YES, GPS: YES, Gyroscope: YES
If you are having issues with your gyroscope interfacing with your applications or hardware, I suggest you contact the developer of the specific application or piece of hardware that you are experiencing problems with. The information I provided came straight from the developers of the Stylo 2, and I have confirmed it by putting the phone in developer mode and running a hardware scan. It took a while to find out, but I'm glad that I finally got the facts from the actual manufacturer of the phone. After I was shown how to perform a hardware scan on the Stylo 2, it removed all doubt. Verdict: The Stylo 2 most definitely has a gyroscope. (This doesn't guarantee that it will interface properly with the app that you are using, however.)

Manny, 24 Sep 2016Does it have the "WIRED TETHERING?" no one seems to be able... moreThe Stylo 2 definitely has wired USB tethering. It allows you to tether via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB. All of the tethering options work equally well, but Wi-Fi obviously gives you the greatest range of all the options. I previously owned the Stylo 1, and it doesn't come close to the performance of the Stylo 2. With 2 GB of RAM, the Stylo 2 is MUCH faster and more responsive. I can run multiple apps in the background without any lagging. The bottom line: The Stylo 2 outperforms the Stylo 1 by leaps and bounds. I have never had any issues with lag, locking up, glitches, or any other type of unwanted behavior. LG did their homework on this one, and the result was a phone that compares to the ones which cost hundreds of dollars more.

Men with a big phone in their pocket, look w... moreUnless you're a 5" tall 100 lbs "man", this phone fits perfectly fine in the pocket of any man's pants or shorts. Unless you're wearing extremely tight jeans (disgustingly tight), it won't stick out of your pocket. Having owned phones with large screens for over three years, I've never once broken a phone due to it not fitting properly in my pocket. This may be a personal problem, but it certainly isn't a problem with the phone. The purpose of this thread is to post factual, objective information about the Stylo 2. Unless you bedazzled your phone, it won't make you look "like a girl". That's absolutely ridiculous.

matt, 23 Sep 2016No it don't have good storage and what year did it come out... moreThe Stylo 2 has double the RAM of the Stylo 1, and lack of RAM was the biggest downfall of the Stylo 1. I have played Pokemon Go on my Stylo 2, and it performs flawlessly... much better than the performance of the Stylo 1. It's amazing that adding 1 GB of RAM increased the performance as much as it did, but the Stylo 2 runs SO much faster, and there are no more annoying glitches that plagued the Stylo 1. It is absolutely worth spending the money to buy the Stylo 2. It is a MUCH better phone, and multiple upgrades were made to improve overall performance. It performs like phones that cost hundreds of dollars more! I found mine at Best Buy for $79 on sale! I guarantee that you'll be blown away by the Stylo 2's performance compared to the Stylo 1.

I previously owned the LG Stylo 1, and I was fairly happy with it, but with only one GB of RAM, it often slowed to a crawl when I had numerous apps running at the same time. Overall response time of the Stylo 1 was okay, but not the best. The camera was sufficient and took decent shots in HDR mode, but its camera doesn't compare to the Galaxy 7 or iPhone, which makes sense at its price point.
The Stylo 2 is a much better phone. The biggest difference is that it has two GB of RAM, and it is surprisingly much more responsive. In fact, it is nearly as responsive and capable of multitasking as phones that cost hundreds of dollars more. It loads apps much faster, and it never seems to get bogged down when I'm running multiple apps. I can't stress enough just how much better the Stylo 2 performs than the Stylo 1.
As far as looks and size go, the Stylo 2 is much thinner than the 1, and it fits much better in my pocket, plus it looks a lot more sleek.
I am extremely happy with my Stylo 2, and I recommend it to anyone who's looking for an affordable phone with a large screen and slim profile. I can't stress enough just how much better the 2 performs than the Stylo 1. No contest. I picked mine up at Best Buy for $75, on sale. What an incredible bargain!
