I bought the Stylo2 in October of 2018. I have yet to have any issues with it. No slowdowns or lagging, battery life is still great with no lessening to be seen, nothing has broken. I keep everything updated. I restart the phone at least once every week. I'm very happy with the phone and if/when needed, I'll probably "upgrade" to the newest Stylo. My sons both have S9+'s and they're great phones also. Mine works as a phone just like theirs, plays music just like theirs, and does most things just like theirs, but mine cost like $700 less. Darn. IDK why others that have posted here have had bad luck with their Stylos. Maybe I just take better care of mine...who knows. I think it's a damned good phone.

Don't waste your money. I got this phone in May 2018. By December, the charge port was completely broken. Figuring it was a fluke, I filed a warranty claim and got a replacement of the same model. BIG mistake. Four months later, the charge port on my replacement is also broken and now I'm out of warranty so I can't even ask for my money back. I have NEVER had this issue with any other phone. The phone i had immediately before this model, the Samsung galaxy core prime lasted 2 years, without a single issue with the charge port; I got an upgrade because it was laggy. Buy literally ANYTHING else but this piece of garbage.

Phones are too disposable these days. this one has crummy camera, battery doesn't hold a charge, charger doesn't stay connected, constantly tells me my memory is full and doesn't put text messages thru even when storage shows quite a bit available. Don't like this phone

I've had this phone for about 2 years and I've seen major declines in terms of performance. It constantly lags and freezes, the camera quality is garbage, storage is so small I can't get any app without uninstalling at least one app, and the battery life is terrible.
My brother and I were so happy to receive this phone first time due to our last phones which was the amazon fire phone not having google play. I enjoyed for a while until we saw declines in performance. In less than a year my brother gave up on the phone and got a Samsung Galaxy S7. I was still stuck with the phone giving it one more chance at being decent but as I kept using it it only got worse.
My 2013 Moto X (first gen) which was my first smartphone has a faster processor than the 2016 lg stylus 2. It was a cheap phone that I got on sale for half price but I see why they lowered the price. Don't get me wrong, LG is a great company but when it comes to phones, they suck.
Lastly, the stylus is pointless. I use it like 3 to 4 times in the 2 years I've had it.

Steve, 03 Dec 2018This has to be the worst phone I have ever owned. The camer... moreSteve, This phone was released two years ago at the time when the IPhone 6 was popular. My wife had an IPhone 6, I had the LG Stylo 2 (which I still have, but am about to upgrade). My phone ran circles around her phone in every way and did until hers completely bricked. I'm sorry, but if you compare specs on them the IPhone just always loses. All you're paying for is the name. Actually, my phone still beats the current IPhones' specs. Apple just doesn't compete, because they know that people will just buy it because it is an Apple product. It's great for their bank, but sucks for you.

I got my brother's old Stylo 2 when he bought a new iPhone. It makes an excellent MP3 player/web browser to cut the load off my Moto E4. The camera is terrible, although it is likely due to the front glass being cracked.
It is a decent phone, and repair parts are commonplace on Amazon.
My only suggestion for LG is to start using Gorilla Glass for their devices, especially since the prices are going down.

This has to be the worst phone I have ever owned. The camera sucks. It is slow and the photos are often out of focus. The text messaging is cumbersome and unreliable. The stylus note taking feature is crap. Don't waste your money on this piece of crap phone. I am going back to the iPhone.

The phone is alright, but nothing amazing. I've had this a year and a half and definitely now on the lookout for a new one. Camera photo quality is acceptable but could be better, and lags when opening camera app causing some missed photo opportunities. The phone has developed lag that it didn't have when i first bought it, so wouldn't recommend it for long use. The pen is handy but honestly don't really need it myself. I'd not necessarily recommend it unless you're on a budget

I have now owned this phone for just over a year. I've purchased this at a Boost retailer knowing I needed a bit more than the phone I've had with Boost for a year. It was Samsung phone but can't recall what model. After purchasing this phone I was definitely happy with it. 6.0 wasn't bad but definitely missed a few things. Update 7.0 did that right up and some. Anyway, I have now owned and used the heck out of this phone for ongoing 2 years and still running like a champion. I plan on keeping it much longer. This phone may not have all the whistles and bells. But, even to date with a 2gb ram 9gb free space memory (16gb internal memory) which is lame but i don't need to many things to begin with. All the apps still work for it's version. This thing is durable. Definitely worth a decent phone.

When we bought it new, my gf cracked the screen in her pocket hours later. But the firmware sucked, the screen was constantly wigging out (not from the crack) So it was shelved, I soft bricked it months ago trying to remedy the screen. Last night I pulled it back out to make it into an IP cam and in the interim update the firmware to Android 7.0. Now it works great using it as my wifi/voip/phablet. I was able to permanently network unlock it over the internet. Soon I will root it so I can uninstall the LG bloatware or give another shot at custom ROM. The bootloader is unlocked also which was easier to do than my LG P769

It sucks. Freezes every other second, low storage, I don't think the phone is worth it and it doesn't update a 25 megabytes even though it has more than 500 megabytes of storage telling me to uninstall apps to make space

I have had my phone over a year and love it. I use an Apple Iphone for work and loathhhhhhhhhhe it. My LG is awesome and does have fingerprint access. Vids/photos are very good to excellent. For a phone that is $100 dollars at metro, it is so much user friendly than Apple. I have Sirus on it and good 4G and wifi. It stays charged for a few days unless I am doing a lot of surfing then charge it up for a couple of hours at night during dinner/tv and it is ready to go. For the money it still out-beats Apple hands down. Get it and love it.

POS phone. I've only had a few months and the battery doesn't hold a charge over night, it's supposed to have 16G internal memory and it only has 8G. It's supposed to have Android 6.0 and it has 5.1.1. Totally disappointed. I should have known better than to buy an LG and stuck with Samsung.

Regret buying this phone. When contract up it is definitely going. Rear buttons are ineffective and notification system for emails etc. are sporadic. It only notifies you of an email about 70% of the time therefore I miss urgent emails. I'm always having to look at phone to be sure I don't miss one.

What a crappy phone this is... I have had S5 Galaxy, Xiaomi Note3 pro in the last few years. This is a company provided phone, but I feel like I went several years back.
The fingerprint doesn't work most of the time, if it's cold, if it's hot, if is dry if it's wet...
It's slow
