Momaduke, 16 Jan 2017Keeps freezing up have to keep taking back off to remove an... moreUpdate your OS to Android 7.0. my phone froze up almost daily and had to remove the battery but ever since I updated to Android 7.0 hasn't froze once.
Go to settings > general > system updates > update lg software

Like all Android phones, this one also needs cleaning. I installed Clean master and an other app that kills background tasks. As a result the phone is working fine. As it goes for freezing, my former s7 sometimes refused to power on.

mine keeps saying invalid sim card, and then I can only make emergency phone calls. cannot text either. doesn't come with a sim card-need to buy one. where does it even go into the phone?

Ive had it for about a week noticed battery wouldnt charge replaced battery still no change. Phone was on airplane mode for 2 hours and battery went up 6%. Keeps freezing. Froze for a good 10 mins and then restarted on its own.

That Tuesday, it randomly shut off that night and I had to take the battery out in order to turn back on. I was almost late to work Wednesday morning because my alarm didnt go off. Called the boost mobile store Wednesday night, and the guy had never heard of that problem. I told him I was going to bring it in if it happened again. It happened Wednesday night. And Thursday night (last night). Needless to say, im going to return the phone today and get a different one.

1. The seller was great, shipped quickly and item was in perfect packaging etc.
2. I've bought this phone 4 times in the past 2 months. 2 times from Best Buy and 2 different Best buy stores and now 2 times from Amazon.
3 out of 4 phones are defective. The system crashes, messenger errors, the phone will shut off after phone calls or random moments like when you are sleeping and then you have to take the battery out to reset. This is a brand new phone, something in the firmware is faulty and LG should consider recalling all the faulty phones.
I will be returning my phone and purchasing a different brand. This phone was great but no one should have a brand new phone that crashes daily.

Have any of you had the freezing / rebooting problems with the LG Stylo 2 Plus sold through Metro PCS? I believe they're selling the MS550 model of the phone. I'm strongly considering purchasing this phone very soon, but all of those comments about the phone locking up and needing to pull the battery to reset it greatly concern me.
