This is applied by android 9? and later on most android phones so blame google for this one. And notification lights on smartphones have already been dying out 5 years ago so complaining about a 2020 smartphone not having it is meaningless.
The best substitute I could find for the general lack of a notification light though is to get a cheap smart watch. It does far better than a simple led light. I'm using a fitbit Versa with a Stylo 6 and I'm loving it so far.

I always wonder why people pay 1000 dollars for a phone. I just my Stylo 6 and i love it. This phone feel good in my hand and do everything I need to do. Good job LG.

I for one love this phone...I'm very happy I got it yesterday in fact, haven't had any problems with it so far....the camera is above average, the screen is HUGE and it's lengthy, but overall I really enjoy this phone, of course its not a 1,000 dollar phone so you're gonna have some technical difficulties here and there but if you're looking for a phone to just get things done, I highly recommend getting it and for those who are on a budget....but overall its a good 41/2 star phone!

This phone is junk, if you think its "almost" a high end phone youre 1.) Poor and 2.) An idiot. My stylo 4+ was twice as good as the stylo 6. The stylo 6 cant even store apps onto the SD card, it doesn't allow it. It also doesn't come with a notification light, a smart phone in 2020 without a notification light??? Seriously? Yeah seriously.. My stylo 6 is in an otterbox case, 1 month after purchasing it slid out of my lap and dropped maybe 1ft onto the ground (in an otterbox) and the stylus popped out and wouldnt go back in, the freaking stylus broke. I am beyond disgusted with this phone and after using stylos since the stylo 2 i will NEVER buy another LG phone, surely not a stylo if I do. I regret spending the money on it and wish I had bought a samsung like EVERYONE told me to. If you get suckered into buying this junk like I was im sorry friend. Save for something better.

Phone was great for awhile but now all of my pictures come out blurry or too bright. I have only had it since July. Is anyone else having these issues?

your rioght bengi ive just ordered stylos 6 ive had 4 5 and soon 6 went to thiese after i dropped note 9 it exploded and samsung wouldntg replace this stylos best phone 4 the money

Omg. Im reading all the hate. If you want a 1000 dollar phone pay for it. This phone is 230 dollars and well worth it. Is it as fast as an iphone 11? No. But its not far behind. Great battery. Great camera. Its fast. Crisp pics. Pick an lg stylo 6 up then pick up one of those junk phones you get for free and you will feel the difference. My opinion? If you want damn near a high end phone but dont have the high end money pick this up!

Hate it haven't had mine 1 week. Cant put it down without it sliding off things and hitting the ground already broken. Have not even been able to reload accounts, bank, wish , amazon etc. It sucks what a hassel

got it from metro for free after switching. used style 4 and 5 before. like the big screen a lot, there is no face recognition and worst part is fingerprint is extremely slow and buggy. I have not seen a slower fingerprint sensor before and I have used a lot of phones. overall there are lags and bugs through out the menu. Idc about camera so I made my decision on the size of the screen since my eyesight is not very good. if screen size is not so important for you u may be served better with other options on the market. also it comes with 18gb used by system and when u update it goes up to 23 or so.

I am nearly certain all the mediatek chipsets are paired with mali gpu"s. Even if they had put in the Helio G90T or even the P70, I would have been interested. I was looking for something approaching a 7" screen. Went for the Pocophone F2 pro instead. It's about 150 more than this to buy and it's got a snapdragon 865. This phone here is a bit of a rip-off.

The Pocophone F2 pro has a snapdragon 865 and liquid cooling and it costs 340 euros. The redmi note 8 pro has a Helio G90T processor and liquid cooling and is superb for high end gaming while costing around 195 euros so it's just not true to say that this phone that has a huge screen but a very average Helio p35 processor is fine because it's not. There are phones with far better processing power and speed that actually cost less.

Horrible phone.
I have had Android phones for years. Mostly Samsung and Motorolas. For the most pert been very satisfied with their operation. Im not a gamer or big Streaming service user. So mainly basic usage, talk, text, internet searches and some live stream or video watching. First off the lack of a dedicated back button is a complete nuisance. Swiping left to back up a page is ridiculous. Most of the time it takes two or three attempts and when it does work u pray u are still on the same app or same person to text respond and that it hasnt opened up a completely different app or texter.
Picture quality is serviceable but The video recorder is a joke. Grainy at best.
The screen goes completely dark randomly after holding it for a few seconds in the Landscape position. Causing u to have to hit the power button to bring the screen back up.
Have to completely power the phone off and restart when attempting to text videos or photos to someone.
You will accidentally hit the Mute button when talking to someone causing the other person to think u have hung up. I have still not figured out how to un mute the phone once you've muted them. The only way to avoid this is to tap the power button to deactivate the screen completely once youve connected.
These problems are not dedicated to this phone as i bought my daughter the same phone last month when i got mine and she has the same issues.
These are only the major issues. There are several others of smaller consequences that are just annoying. I have only had the phone for a little over a month and if Metro PCS would let me id trade it in in a heartbeat. May just bight the bullet and buy a different phone anyway.

This is, hands down, the worst phone I've ever had. I cannot send any emails with attachments. It's slow as hell. My Sanyo flip phone was faster, lol. It won't load a lot of websites, online menus, etc. Drop-down menus frequently don't work. It freezes all the time and I have to restart it. It frequently doesn't connect to WiFi. The volume goes from super low, to super loud, with no happy medium. Yeah, the stylus feature is nice, but it isn't enough to save it. There are several other problems, but these are the ones I can think of right now. I've had this phone a month and a half. I am trying to get it replaced, but I don't think that's going to be much better. I see in the LG sites that a lot of people are having the same issues, so I suspect the replacement will suck as well. I'm planning on selling the replacement and going back to Motorola.

1st of, I'd like to stat I have been a LG Stylo user since the original. I love the Stylo overall, but since the LG Stylo 4 I feel it's bounced back and forth from being a phone I love, to one I'm looking to replace.
Stylo 6 has some awesome features, most notably for me is it's size, stylus, and battery life also. There is good amount of memory also.
But the cons are huge, and if not changed will lead me to buying outside of the Stylo.
* Lag issue's. Some days it will go unbearable slow. Especially if you are not smart cleaning every few hour's.
* Sometimes the WIFI will drop. I have several devices in my home, this one being the only with the issue.
* Phone reception / LTE is horrible compared to the other phones in the house. I have 3 other phones in the house under the same provider. Where I have no reception, the other phones will have LTE and text/call reception.
Example - Devils Lake, WI
2 out of 3 phones could make calls/texts/access the internet. Guess which one couldn't?
* Sometimes it will not make calls without shutting device on/off
* Sometimes the same will hold true for messages
All in all, love the LG Stylo brand but the 6th definitely needs work. Hopefully we see a upgraded version in the future? I would say this phone is perfect for someone who uses their phone for the basics, and does not travel much.

Picked this phone up yesterday at Cricket for $99.
Excellent phone!!
Great call reception, speakers are as clear as my s20 Ultra, and the resolution is great.
Is it the fastest phone out there?
Nope...and never claimed to be.
It is a well built,attractive phone that really offers a ton of bang for the money. IMHO its superior to the samsung a20.
If it were a bit faster it would be a much more expensive phone.
Idk about others but for me....im DONE paying high dollar for samsung flagships. Seriously....who REALLY uses all a phone is capable of anyway?
This styli will get the job done and have fun doing it all while i spend the 1300 bucks saved on other things.
