At first I loved this phone, but now it has become the WORST phone I've EVER owned! For some unknown reason it changed my ringtone to a very quiet lullaby and when I went into the ringtone settings it showed that my original was still set. I listened to EVERY ringtone to see which one it changed to and it's not even in the list! So I tried others that weren't mine and saved each one every time and the lullaby one was still there. I was having people call me every time I tried to change it to see if it actually changed and it hasn't. Then it changed my alarm sound to something that's not in the list either. 🤬🤬 The pull down screen comes down with the slightest touch and I have to restart it and it'll be ok for a few days and then goes right back. Don't even get me started about the terrible camera 🤦🏼♀️. One of the things that was in their advertisement was that it took great pictures, so not true. I bought it when it first came out so there no reviews to research. I HATE it! I HATE it! I HATE it!!! I'm on a very limited income so getting another phone is going to be hard since I had to save money for about 6 months to get this one. LG Stylo 6 SUCKS! ☹️

Hello, I discovered this thread and now I want to share my opinion on the LG Stylo 6.
I don't like it, honestly. Before this one, I had the LG Stylo 2, which wasn't so bad, the only issue I had with that one was the battery, to which I was able to replace easily and it worked again, but I was due for an upgrade so around 2020, I upgraded to Stylo 6. It wasn't so bad at first, but throughout the 2 years of having this phone, I have experienced many issues.
Issues such as:
Fast draining battery and slow charging: I would uninstall any apps I don't need, and I wouldn't use my phone often sometimes just to conserve battery, but even with battery saver, it still drains fast. And when I charge it, it takes forever to charge back to at least 70%. The charging port is sensitive because sometimes when i plug in my charger, it won't even charge. And sometimes it would disconnect on its own without me even touching it. So whenever I charge it over night, instead of waking up to a phone at 100%, sometimes I wake up to a phone at 5%. Even if I used the original charger, I'll still get the "Charging slowly: Please use original charger" message and using any other charger won't work.
Ghost tapping and notifications bar: Sometimes whenever I'm texting someone, 2 things can happen. One, the screen would be unresponsive and not type anything at all, maybe one or two letters. And two, it would type more than one letter. (Example: Me trying to text "What's up." But it ends up looking like "Whattttssss upppp") which is weird. And sometimes while typing, I end up getting the notifications bar swiping down and it's annoying. I can see that many people here have the same exact issues here.
I'm going to be getting a new phone and I'm not getting another LG Stylo, screw that. This brand of phones suck. My recommendation: Never buy this phone. It will only last you like, 2 years.

I love my phone. Can't seem to find one comparable or a step up in the same ballpark financially. I bought it in 2020 and it's Jan 2023 so that tells a lot. But I only play a few games like Candy Crush & Scrabble Go so can't say anything about heavy gaming which I assume wouldn't work well.

I have loved all the LG stylo phones in the past but this one is just awful. Apart from the camera getting scratched and blurry from just being in my pocket for a day, or the extreme amount of ghost typing and screen presses that randomly appear and are impossible to go away, its also an extremely slow phone. Takes forever to open google, its impossible to play any mobile games because of how slow and laggy they are, besides the large screen it is overall the worst piece of technology ive ever picked up

One of the fewer exceptions I'll allow, I got this phone during 2021, (s22ultra rn) but this LG phone is fine if you just want to consume media, this phone is not made for gaming obviously because of the chip, excellent screen real-estate.

LG Stylo 6 is a great phone. I have this phone since October 2020 snd today is January 2023. My Samsung phone didn't reach the two years. It is sad that LG will not make more phones, they were cheap and they have good quality.

literally the worst phone I've ever owned, bar none. after 6 months, started ghost typing, double typing, pulling down the Taskbar randomly, you name it. I believe that during production, somewhere on the assembly line, a witch imbues the phone with a malevolent and idiotic spirit. nothing else can explain its uncanny ability to altogether fail to work properly in those completely crucial moments where you absolutely need it to function. if you're ever doing something time sensitive that requires your phone, the aforementioned idiot demon will rear its ugly head to ensure that you cannot complete that task in a timely manner. I would like to know the name of the engineer who "designed" (design is a stretch, the phone was hastily cobbled together with utter incompetence) this phone. I just want to talk.
anyway 0/10 anyone who has paid for this phone deserves not only a reimbursement, but an additional payment for all the headaches they've had to endure while using this absolute piece of garbage.

Great phone except for battery life. 3 charges per day. Its even on extended battery use. Not replaceable battery. Bummer

I've had this phone for 2 years now. I've never had any problems with it until recently. Its become a ghost phone opens apps. The slide screen keeps coming down when texting. Or when texting the letters get hung up and you might end up with 10 L's for one word. Just started happening then it stops after a hour or so. Other than that great camera, good battery time, nice storage, Iike resolution when watching videos, and nice sound. The phone is starting to hesitate as well but its two years old. Phones arent made to last any longer. Too bad LG stopped making phones that's all I've pretty much owned was the stylos

I've had my LG Stylo 6 (my 2nd one) first one had broke, my fault. Iv'e been using it for over a year and a half and I really like the phone, especially with the Stylist. Iv'e read so many bad reviews but the best way is to try it for yourself. Of course it slowed down only when I had 60 plus apps downloaded and almost my full 64 GB memory used. I added another 64 Gb to it, deleted some apps and it still runs great. Never lost a call or anything, which is the main reason for a phone. But it runs smooth, Youtube and Online is fast, the stylist is smooth to the touch. of course better phones out there but being a tech guy and low key nerd, I think this phone is very underatted especially for beginners. I'm thinking about upgrading my sons old Nokia to this, he's almost 12 and I think this is the perfect smart phone for him to have, especially being a little artist he is, he can definitely make use of the pen!! Must Buy/Try ****

POS... Freezes constantly, no matter how many times i turn of sound for certain things.. Still constantly making noise. Frezzes than starts blinking on whatever screen you were on, constantly freezes while talking on phone, than drops call. Very slow typing, home screen keeps pulling up when typing. Hard to exit apps. Just does whatever it wants. Had it a year, and have had problems 11 months. I hate this phone so much, and i totally rely on my phone for my reselling business.
