Another update cuz why not. [5/3/21 - 1/18/21]
So uh. A couple of days ago I dropped my phone into water and that caused the screen to flicker and ghost touch so I put it in rice for 72 hours. The screen had water inside od it and it still does but it no longer flickers and do the ghost touch. Everything is working again! But, Imma get a new phone next month so this might be my last update about this phone.

Found a work around that seems to mostly work to rid myself of all the weird selections, notification pull down driving me insane and multiple letters.
Went to the accessibility options in settings - touch input - ignore repeated taps then set that.
I also activated developer tools and shut off all animations. While in developer tools I selected the show touches options and that's how I figured ignore repeated taps (used for folks with tremors) should help because the top bar kept flickering red like it had been touched even sitting on the table. It also flickered all spazy like or stayed lit up after I touched it anywhere.

All the pissing and moaning I've heard about this phone 2022 still have mine and no trouble at all where I've had Samsung and other devices and well I won't go any further so for a phone that's almost three years old and still going strong yea well

DO NOT BUY awful phone. Ghost touch, double typing, freezing and also cannot hold a single app in the background. This phone is a scam. Had this phone for a few months and boom, every problem all at once. It's a scam

As others have mentioned, stay away. It worked great for maybe a year for me, then the phantom tapping and double/triple typing started. I tap toward the bottom of the screen and the top status bar pulls down. I'm so done.

LG, absolute junk. It takes four times the amount of time to type, emails, text of any other keyboard requirment.. Constantly proof reading to see where the word you typed jumped to. Continuisly having to select the LG keyboard and erasing the double.and triple letters that the keyboard autofills.
Example.
Suzy went to the store and bought a loaf of bread. 6 times the keyboard disappeared and asked what keyboard to use.

This phone started having screen touch issues I've troubleshot with my carrier and LG over the phone, reset everyday multiple times. Now LG is requiring me to send my phone in for at least 2 weeks to check and see if they can repair it if not it's still under warranty. So I have to buy another phone and I still owe a large balance on this one. They should recall these. They know it's their fault they even quit making phones. I was told they had only one technician OMG.

This phone double and triple types all the time. I have to restart it or power off and on. Found this site looking for a replacement OS. Dont buy if you are searching reviews.

I still owe a lot of money and my phone is crap. Screen freezing, ghost typing all the time,slow ,shits down in the middle of browsing, I can't upgrade yet, I was told LG discontinued phones,so what now we're stick paying for crappy phone? I want my money back.

I have had this phone about 6 months and have had ALL of the negative experiences listed! Ghost typing, screen turning on and off while working on it, screen freezes. I went through and moved everything I could to my memory card and have plenty of space left so this shouldnt be happening. I will never listen to a US Cellular Rep again! JUNK JUNK JUNK!

Anybody having issues with their voicemail im unable to get voice messages its just a busy signal when callers call me

LG Stylo 6 is a P.O.S. as like everyone is saying freezes up just does not work good at all. I still owe money for this thing and can't use it as a trade or up grade cause it is only worth $10.

The stylo series is not an aspect of LG I'll miss in any way, shape, or form. Disappointing specs for a high asking price that in no way are justified. Pair that with a buggy software experience and constant freezes and crashes makes this series a Recepie for disaster.
Rather buy a Xiaomi, folks.

I've had the Stylo 6 over a year and haven't a lick of problems with it I think it's a good phone how often do you get stereo speakers plus 6.8 Inch screen so It may have little flaws I wouldn't complain

this is the worst phone i have ever owned. It freezes 25 times a day at the least. i wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone

I can't type without it typing several of the same letters, freezes often, & screen blinks when trying to type etc. Had this POS for about a year now, bought it from Amazon, definitely would not recommend this crap to anyone. What a disappointment.

Stylo 6 is a piece of crap phone I wouldn't tell anybody to buy it it's not worth a damn you every time you push something something else happens it's just not worth ten cents let alone $300 I wouldn't advise anybody to buy

I bought this phone 2 months after it came out and im actually on it right now. Yess it freeze up for a moment every once in a while atand the pen is fragile but its lasted me for a looong time .
