Worst phone I have ever had! I the Stylo 4 and 5 and they were ok. Just bought this 2 months ago and have never been so frustrated. You cant move to a different app without closing one, cant view a pic on messaging coz it get stuck and may have to restart phone which could take as long as 6 mins just coming back on. Cant block group spam messages, and the list goes on I wish I never wasted my money coz have to buy a new phone. Prob the last phone buying from metro pcs

For users experiencing lagging, go to about phone>software version, tap build number 3 to 4 times to enable developer options. Then go to system>developer options. Turn off all the animations to "animation off". Scroll down to the background process limit, I set it to 3. I found this speed up the phone a bit. But please test it coz it might interfere some apps, you might have less notifications. Hope this helps. And btw, get the 4gb ram version if you can.

Stlyo 6 is the crappiest phone ever. It constantly disconnects from my comcasy wifi and is off more than it's on...I had two metro phones before this and they were both fine but the stylo 6 is so awful, i'll never take a chance on another metro phone.

My last LG Stylo 5 was great, not this one!!!! I saw a tech person say buy the right one, ummm it should be the right one, when you buy it. I thought it was a game I was playing that caused the problem, but apparently not. I don't recommend buying it and now looking for a new phone😢

Sometimes I cannot even answer my phone calls. Seven months since i bought. Almost 300 dollars gone to waste because I might end buying a new phone.

Charging port went on the fritz after the first month, its extremely finicky. Screen not responsive most of the time. Word preferences are constantly reset on the keyboard. Stylus shoots right out when it drops. This is a major failure for LG, don't buy this lightweight paperweight.

I've had Stylo's 3 and 4 soo soo sad with the Stylo 6.... it's slow and unresponsive. I've had to reset the screen several times to finish typing at times. It erased ALL my contacts and I don't know how it happened. Very glitchy due to it's slow response... press something and it happens later. A disappointment for sure... they upgraded the style but not the Stylo

Before anyone gets scared away from buying this phone, please note there are at least two versions.
You have the carrier-locked version that has only 3gb of ram memory. The carriers also install their bloatware apps which slow their phones down even further. These two important details are important. Do not buy this version unless you don't mind the slowdowns and whatever other nonsense.
But, there is an unlocked version on Amazon, that one has 4gb ram, and it doesn't have the garbage carrier apps installed. Three people close to me personally have this version and i am their tech support. All three have never had any issue, literally none, all purchased somewhere between 4-7 months ago. Their phones are surpringly fast considering the chipset. From what i've seen with these 3 phones, and from i've read online, the unlocked version doesn't seem to have the problems other people write about.
I just checked Amazon again, the unlocked 4GB version has an extremely high customer rating, 1600 customer reviews, and an "Amazon Choice" label.
Note for futue commentors, please tell us which version you are using so everyone can make an informed decision, otherwise we'll just have to assume that those who have complaints are using the 3gb carrier locked version.
