In comparison to the
Redmi note 3 -77,479
Redmi note 4 - 61,834 ( ya.. I know redmi note 4 is a bit of a downgrade but still a 60k+ score is sufficiently huge)
I know benchmarks scores aren't everything but it gives you a rough idea...and the difference is huge...gaming is ok but don't expect it to run everything you throw at it with ease.

But it will not be ... moreDear sir ..do you know any workarounds for it..can we manually install the updates without flashing the device everytime once the device is rooted? I have read about this application called flashfire on "how to geek" but I don't want risking losing an update to android O should LG decide to give it one in the near future..maybe I should just be patient and manage with the limited internal memory as of now..and then root and foldermount the heck out of it once the android O update rolls out..or should i just screw the updates (nougat is good as it is) and just root my device and forget it...what do you suggest would be wise?

You tried it... moreDear jay,if you are referring to mounting the SD card as default storage..nope it isn't possible due to restrictions by Lg however as you have mentioned quite a few of the apps can be transferred to SD card..if you are really having a memory crunch you can consider rooting your device and shift your obb files to SD card and mount em using "folder mount" app..you won't get any OTA updates post rooting though

LG stylus is full waste compare to other devices, am using from 1.6 months always getting hang always, i cannot restart also if it is getting hang only option is to take battery out and and put it again. its really utter flop device.

Suze, 18 Jun 2017Just moved on from a very temperamental note4 to this a few... moreI have been using this phone for two months now and neither the videos on my Mx player nor the youtube lag/freeze..however there is a minute delay in opening the apps but it never freezes.. the mediatek processor is holding up surprisingly good as of now..have used a Snapdragon version of redmi note 3 and the Motorola droid turbo...it's a definite downgrade from em but it manages..maybe something wrong with your particular device..gotta get your device checked

If u never be a FHD user,... moreAnd stylus is pretty useful to me as a med student cos I can take quick screenshots of texts and images of the topics I'm reading and quickly scribble stuff to be remembered in the screenshot for future revisions...so it's indispensable to me as a student...using a finger is tedious,active styluses are expensive and lag and forget using those cheap fat styluses,you can't write with those...and calligraphy works only in the screen off memo...in the capture+ which you use for screenshots..you get to see your own beautiful handwriting...yes there are far better offerings for lesser price..if stylus is not important for you..forget this phone..this is only for stylus users..the name says it all

If u never be a FHD user,... moreCome on ..don't be so harsh on it..yep I have used the full HD on redmi note 3 and the QuadHD on Motorola droid turbo and my mi pad...it's near perfect for desperate stylus users..cos the samsung note 4 with a battery that doesn't last a day,no VOLTE,no dual SIM...and Samsung note 5 with no expandable memory..so currently perfect would be Samsung note 5 and near perfect would be LG stylus 3 cos there aren't any others to compete...maybe Lg stylus 2 plus(with a lesser cpu-'stylus 3 has outperformed stylus 2 plus in benchmarks',and a lesser battery) or the upcoming LG stylus 3 plus (with lesser ram and smaller battery again) can compete..and I have seen quite a few bad 720p panels..this is nothing like it

e.g., G4 Beat, K10(2016), Stylus 3, G4(watchout for specific bootlooped units tho), etc.

Just moved on from a very temperamental note4 to this a few days ago n love it apart from one thing...... Playing video. It huffs n puffs n buffers then freezes n is driving me mad. Is this typical for this phone? If it is im sadly going to have to change it for a phone without a stylus. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Xx
