It says the Stylus 3 has NFC, but mine doesn't. Maybe it's only available for the Boost Mobile version (LS777) and not the international unlocked version (M400xx)? If an admin can update that, it would be great. Thanks!

Owner of the M400DF version (32 GB, dual SIM). I've had this phone since 2017, and it's still going strong like when it was new. Plan on keeping it around for another 5 years or more.
I'm also pleased that LG is continuing to support this phone with updates, even though it isn't a flagship. A lot of other phones don't get that love, and are EOL (end-of-life) the moment they leave the assembly line. Glad this one's an exception to the rule.

Can anyone really tell me why this device, I.e. LG Stylus 3, or LGM400Y takes so long to charge? I know the battery is alleged to be 3200mAh, but it takes hours to charge. My Galaxy J4 only has a 3000mAh battery, which not only charges very quickly, but it lasts longer too.
If anything bothers me about a smartphone it's battery life, and camera ability. Both my mom's LG, and my J4 have 13mp cameras, but the J4 wins again in clarity and detail. Come on LG, how could a camera be so poorly set up, and why does the battery perform so poorly. At the very least, a mid range phone should beat a budget phone, no?

Im laughing at some of these bad reviews.
My LS-777 is my favorite mid range smartphone I osn and also astest mid range cell from that period. It outperformed the J7 which was next in line. Its internal storage comes bloated with preinstalled crap but its expandable by 256gigs through SD card slot so no biggie.
Someone said its impossible to root, i suggest that person do a bit more research before stating "facts".
Rooting the device is complicated but possible.
On to the phone!
This phone is a poor. Pentesters dream come true!
I run a terminal emulator with around 360 penetration testing tools that make most phones choke and die when they try and run them.
LS-777 is a tank and never once has given me any issues like apples iphone or glaxy S series have.
Its screen is tough and wont render the phone useless if shattered, it has a extra layer over the digitizer which allows the phone to still work.
The built in finger0rint reader works great and reads even when dirty fingers are scanned. It also has a larger than normal battery that has good life and fast charge times.
The processor is an octacore 1.4 so it allows the phone to perform some seriously taxing feats whithout stuttering or freezing up and its wifi reciever picks up further routers than any other phone I own (including apples iphone 8).
The speaker is not as loud as the iphones but it is still not too bad of a component for the price.
Its rear 13mp camera is not the best out there and lacks the crisp detailed clarity of the other smartphone cameras available today.
The stylus is a good touch and it has a pop memo that pops up when the stylus is ejected for use.
It also alerts you when youve left the stylus out so you dont forget it somewhere.
This phone is better than the J7 and while not comparable to top of the line phones, its certainly a viable alternative to those with not much money to spend

This phone isn't the fastest, lightest, newest or most flashy. But it is an excellent device for the cost. Currently going for $100 in some places. When you consider all of the features and specs, it's mind-blowing that it's priced so low. If you like doing graphic edits or art on your phone, the stylus will become a feature you don't know how you ever lived without. Screen is big enough to comfortably game or watch videos/tv... Even has a radio tuner and fingerprint lock. Literally my favorite phone I ever had.

Had mine for 9 months and am fed up to the back teeth with it. The 16 gb internal is mostly full before you turn it on and there are many restrictions about what you can move over to an SD card. No option to format SD cards as internal memory, no fastboot mode and so far at least, impossible to root making this phone a constant frustration and a weekly grind of freeing up space. Really regret getting it.

Looks like LG abandoned this device already without giving a single OS Upgrade. Not even to 7.1.1. Stuck on 7.0 forever.

I was about to fix a screen guard but it appears the phone comes with its own pre-installed screen protector. I see what appears to be an already fixed screen protection layer.
Does it come with a pre-installed screen guard?

I have this phone for about 4 months now for Europe. I took it to Africa but can't use it due to decoding problems. I have been told that it's software for decoding is not yet out. I need your help pls
