I have this phone for more than a year and its working just fine. No lags, the camera in hdr mode is more than what I can ask for a phone with a 15K price tag. Plus the stylus pen is one of a kind.

I have had this phone for over a year now. Brilliant device for the price..the people in this forum fail to realise the value for money you get in terms of how much phone you get for how much you pay. You just have to keep updating the software and it will work like a dream. Also go to developer options and reduce animation scales it will increase the processor speed by alot. Great phone keep it up LG....

I've had the phone for a mere week. I'm listening to online radio today at a fixed location, suddenly gets choppy and stops working. Email won't refresh either. Then the phone becomes non-responsive, the power button feels hot. I reset the antenna under the mobile options, fixing the problem for a second. Problem repeats itself, with longer non-response time. Maybe I'll just go with the cheaper & comparable LG Escape 3 instead. I hear it's more stable, has just the 4 processors.

Review after one wee, 02 Mar 2018Review of LG Stylus 3 which I purchased for these reasons:
... moreRegarding your phone contacts being saved to Google without your permission, it is possible to disable that (not sure how to get rid of the ones already saved however). Go to Settings > Apps > Configure Apps (from the menu button on the top right corner) > App Permissions > Contacts. Toggle the switch off for all apps except those you want to be able to access that data. Repeat that for the Phone and SMS permissions as well. In addition, when creating new contacts, be sure to save them to Phone or SIM Card, not Google.
Furthermore, it is possible to disable all vibrations, but only by activating Do Not Disturb from Notifications in your phone's settings, and selecting 'Total Silence'. Not an elegant solution, but works if you can live with not getting any notifications.

Review of LG Stylus 3 which I purchased for these reasons:
1. A large removable battery.
2. A dedicated LED notification light.
3. Allows contacts to be saved to SIM/Phone Memory (unlike Moto G5 which forces you to store contacts to Gmail only).
4. A 3.5mm headphone jack.
If any of these things had been missing I wouldn't have purchased it.
***PROS***
Removable battery
Dedicated LED notification light
Good call quality & speaker sound
Decent screen resolution
Double tap for screen off/unlock
Automatically turns screen off when holding phone to ear for calls and turns it back on again when call is finished
Easy double-tap feature for taking screenshots
Good camera quality
Lightweight
Fast and responsive
Minimum bloatware
Decent gallery app provided for media
Decent battery life (but compromised by Google Chrome which drains a lot of power)
***CONS***
Washed out colours (blue biased). Eg. purples look blue etc. Reds are less vibrant.
No universal 'Vibration-Off' function (some apps and functions still vibrate, which I hate)
The LED notification light is only one colour. My previous phone offered different colours: blue for email, yellow for SMS, green for fully charged, purple for Viber etc.
Google uploaded my phone contacts without my permission.
It's difficult to find genuine LG replacement batteries and accessories.
Narrow viewing angles
No fast charging
It's too thin. I prefer a thicker phone that's easier to pick up
Microphone is in an awkward place, where my little finger rests whilst taking calls so I often cover the microphone with my finger by mistake.
Conclusion...
I'm a little disappointed with the display which looks slightly dull and cool compared with AMOLED displays but this seems to be a trait of most IPS LCD displays. The resolution could be sharper too but it's still decent enough.
This is the only phone I could find with both a removable battery and an LED notification light. The stylus feature doesn't interest me.
The LG Stylus 3 offers excellent value for money and I would award it 8/10.

I've just bought this phone and I'm very disappointed and angry for two reasons...
Firstly, there is no option to switch off ALL vibration and haptic feedback. I HATE vibration... It's like holding a big, buzzing moth in your hand. Some apps vibrate and some don't. Even with vibration options switched off in the menus it still vibrates. This is very annoying LG.
Secondly Google Chrome is EATING UP THE BATTERY LIFE! It makes no difference if Chrome is 'Disabled' and/or 'Force Stop' is used - you totally ignore my wishes. When I check the battery five minutes later Chrome is back and running again, draining battery life like a parasite.
I hope everyone reads this. I award this phone 2 stars out of 10. I am very angry LG.
