If you bought the device personally from a retail store, you wouldn't have a problem right now.
The best thing that you could do would be to call LG Customer Service about this.

I bought my I new LG stylus 3 months ago and started using it 7 weeks ago after having added a gorilla glass screen protector and protective case. 3 days ago suddenly the showed horizontal and vertical lines, making the display so dark that cellphone is now practically useless. The phone was neither dropped nor otherwise damaged.
The phone was purchased from Amazon. What do I do now??

jerry, 23 Sep 2017Should i buy this as a giftIt depends. This phone has everything that a power-user needs. The LG Stylus 3 literally lasts for two days on heavy use, and three days for text and call.
But, if the person that you are giving it to wants Oreo, NFC, and/or infrared blaster, look for something that LG, Samsung, Sony, or Nokia has to offer.

The Stylo 3 is by far the least likable mobile phone I have ever owned. It's ability to drop calls, freeze up and act like anything but a cell phone is only outdone by the fact that LG and Sprint have no intention of standing behind or servicing this product. This was my second Stylo 3 as the first one went back because it did all of the same things plus the screen cracked. I have LG TV'S and have had other LG phones but stay away from this phone.
