l have just bourght this phone and when l go to take a picture it blinks straight back off l think l need credit to take pictures thats strange and l cant seem to transfer pictures from my pc to the phone only mp3 and l have no way of getting ringtones because l cant send a ringtone threw infrared

omgg.. i've had this phone for almost 2years.. it's really a crap phone i've been using!! i got the problem of lagging after a while of typing sms.. it turns black and the screen went off too! it doesnt have bluetooth and infrared too! the bluetooth and infrared functions only start to work with LG to LG phones.. memory is so small that it has space of only up to 5songs and a few pictures. that's it for the memory! im fine with the 1.3 megapixel camera. now.. i cant wait to change to another new phone which has all the opposites functions of this LG T5100! as im typing this msg here, im getting more and more agitated with this phone! i've sent it for repair twice but it still fail to perform well!! THINK THRICE BEFORE BUYING THIS! if you want, can always feel free to buy from me!

I have LgT5100 and i am very happy with him.
This is very good mobile phone but someone don't know how to use this phone.
1. When i set 1280*940 - the pictures are briliant.(but when i set for example 320*240 then the pictures are not good , but it's normal)
2.The mp3 player is very good
3.Someone don't know how to transport the pictures,mp3,and video from mobile to computer or from computer for mobile.
TO transport - you must install the drivers and software and you must have a Usb data transport cabel.
4.The phone have screensaver,flash light,video player ,infrared port, and i am very happy with him.

I think I've had this cellphone for about a year now and there is still no problem. The java and wallpapers I have on my phone are all uploaded from my computer. Until now (july 2006) It's still working well.

OK ive had my phone for about 6 months and after trying to download a JAVA game my phone kept showing me the LG starting screen and doesnt actually work at all now HELP!!!

I have the LGT5100 which I bought in Malaysia in April 2005. The screen went blank after 6months and haven't been able to use it since. Is there a way this can be fixed? I understand there is a connecting cable linking to the screen which is not functioning. What can I do. I need assistance to replace the cable if possible. Thanks. Chris from Ghana.

Just use your serial port on pc instead usb when you want to put wallpapers videos or ringtones mp3...

I have bought Lg one month back. I am not able to synchronise it with Pc. Even the service centre in Kolkata had hell of difficuty in connecting it at their works. Back home I am sad for I can't use it on Pc. Do anybody have any solution?????.

just recently my T5100 has gone from moderatly slow to a really annoying slow phone. Plus how do u set an MP3 to a ringtone. I mean this is a bit of a jokes of a phone, it doesnt even let me upload movie clips!!

i'm not sure if this is problem on my phone only, but it's really slow!! it's killing me. for example with typing in text, it starts off ok, and then it's really laggy!! it annoys me so much. also, when the backlight turns off, when i haven't pressed any buttons for an amount of time, when i do press a button, the screen turns off for 30 seconds, before coming back on!! the seller said that it wasn't a problem - that all phones with similiar functions are this slow, but is it?
the camera is ok, sometimes very blurry, or with crap results in bad lighting, but is ok i guess.
the fact that it doesn't have bluetooth, does annoy me too.

I hate this phone. It takes the worst pictures Ive ever seen for a megapixel phone, Ive read many reports and it is just hopeless. The memory is not enough for anything including the mp3 player. The sound on the mp3 player through the headset is even dissapointing. The loudspeaker even distorts, and it says that in the manual. The OS is very slow, it is at its very worst when loading up images and the mms inbox, and what bugs me the most is, when typing a txt message, after about the 3rd line, it takes absolutely light years to even type a word! God damn, its a huge bulky piece of hollow plastic that weighs a tone and feels like ass in my pocket. No one can hear what im saying on the phone, because the bloody reciever is up next to the lense of the cam! and to top it off, the reception is weak. And whats with Pocket Athlete! my god.... I like the swiveling screen, but it gets wobbly after a while. The only things I like about this phone is the screen clarity, thats it. Geez, i wonder who got fired after this phone was released. Im now swapping to a Sony Ericsson k750i, hot.

Yeh, i got this phone just recently, and i have to say, i'm a lil disappointed. wif the memory being about....27mb? it can't really store much mp3, and the mp3 player is therefore not much use. the pictures taken are not very good quality at all. in slightly dim lighting, the pictures are grainy and blurred, with a very annoying colour distortion. the phone is huge, and heavy, even after considering the megapixel feature. however, it is a decent phone...the turning scene is pretty neat, and it does actually look like a camera. but yes...very big...and the camera is not that great.
