ooooo, this is a really bad phone, i have had it since september so it's only 7 months old, the wheel on the front is not accurate, and it's rubbish in the rain, it was in my coatpocket an it looks like there is a massive crack inside the actual screen, and I haven't dropped it recently.
I have it on 3 as a contact phone, and the bottom bit where the charger goes in has fallen off, so all in all a 7 month phone is falling to bits, this shouln't happen.
I actually really liked this phone, as I am a bit of a phone critic it was not an easy choice, but I did generally like the phone and LG, but now I don't think that I will be getting an LG next.
I personally think that Nokia and Samsung are the best make of phones I wouldn't get rid of one of them for an LG. Sorry like if I am offending anyone.

alot of people seem to complain about that, but heres what you do...
on the main screen bit, on the big round wheel, click left and a little box appears at the bottom of the screen, simply click the normal option and as long as you pick the vibration pattern and your ringtone then it should work really.

My daughter has this phone but can't seem to get the vibrate and ring to work at the same time, can anyone help, will this phone do this.

Well ive had this phone for about two weeks now, and this is what i think
I do like this phone alot, it does the job well.
== the good points ==
It always have signal!
2MP camera.
3G and small at the same time
the wheel is entertaining to say the least
Memory card slot.
battery life superb!!
Music quality is fanastic, through speaker or headphones (good bass)
bluetooth amazingly quick
== bad points ==
Slow at loading up pictures
when texting the wheel sometimes moves and basically takes you out of the text box
The pc software is just horrible
The camera decides to go change back to vga resolution once in a while
the 2mp camera shots dont fill up the whole screen unless you put it into wallpaper mode which i dont know the resolution for.
good phone but a few small changes would make it better.

LG isn't a world player! I hate them! they should reach asian markets coz they are soo innovative and dont look cheap!

I have had this phone since mid-2006
IT a great phone and is very different from all other phone. It dose have zoom, only for lower quality shot. the onlt problem with this phone i see is that when you finish with a conversation and slide the phone back (to hang up), the phone dose end the call

hi ive had this fone 4 ages now nd ive had absoluntly no probs it is a gr8 fone nd i dont c y people r moaning ... i recomend it if your into music ect.

This fone is amazin i have had absolutely no problems had it since september 2006 great mp3 and camera apart from no zoom Recommend to buy this fone !!!!

i have had the phone for a week and found it so easy to use i can get things from the computer to my phone including full length films, the camera is gr8 and i lyk the wheel i dont see why people are moaning about it.

hey, i actually work in a mobile phone shop and took out a contract and got the lg u400. thers alot of problems with this phone, my bluetooth only works wen it feels like it, when i get a txt message it doesnt tell me that iv got 1 so if i dont hear the ringtone goin i have no clue iv received 1. thers loads more problems with it, and i know more people has had the same thing. am i on my own here or has any1 else had 2 put up with this??!!

Just got my new phone and cannot get profile setup to save my selected ringtone and vibrate. When someone calls its silent, and when you go back into edit on the profile page, it's all back to silent and zero. The sttings won't hold. Is it a faulty handset , or am I missing something? Any help appreciated.

ive jsut bought this phone (well 2 days ago) expecting it to come through any day really, but thats royal mail first class for you. all reviews on it say its good, so im hopeful...i had a motorola v3x before, i hope this is better, even if it does have a smaller screen

The wee phone is great, got it on contract, only one problem, Java Games dont work on it, seems to have a software problem, anyone else find this?

Heya, I'm thinking about getting this phone on 3. Read some really good reviews on it and the specs seem excellent. Can anyone tell me what the sound quality is like? I currently have a Samsung D600, Better or worse?
