This phone is great and bad.
*Lack of bluetooth
*hard to connect with the Phone Manager(installed in the computer)
*The pixel is fantastic, i transferd some pictures to the phone and the quality was mad!
*annoying opening sound, but yet you can change it to like a Adam's Family type
*The mini LCD front, is good!
*Lack of loading, when you go to Multimedia, and go to Video or Pictures, takes long to load
*Good quality sound
*Crap, 1 min voice record
At leaste it's better than C970, dunno the name but that fat one

exactly the same problem connecting my phone with IR .. it makes me wait wait and wait ... but still no file trasfer has been ever possible through the InfraRed please help me in that and email me if any ones got the solution of this problem or i can only use the data cable for that ......HELP!!

i have a lg u8120 i got it a couple of days ago it was £30 but u had to pay another thirty pounds to get but it gives u £30 credit its a great price. but im having a problem i wana send mp3 files from ma comp to the phone using infrared but it wont work and i have windows xp. wat do i do!!!!

i have lg u8120 im trying to send mp3 songs from my computer to my phone with in fra red it takes to long i waited 15 mins and its still on 0% then it says sychorinisation or wat eva failed. and i have windows xp wat do i do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the specification its says that it has a built in handsfree .. ?? does it .. ?? how do i enable it during when i am in a call .. ta ta

yes i asked earlier abt IR problem ... i want to ask ..with which handsets is this compatible and with which one, it is not .. ? is it compatible with NOKIA handsets.. ? i mean will it share with them .. ?

yes, it's a definitely a good phone.. it has built in Modem, mp3 player, good camera.. but one thing that annoys me while using is it's ANTENA... it's quite disturbing for me...

mine have the same problem when connecting my lg 8120 with SE k500... but you can't say it prob.. some cross handsets (different manufecturers) are not compatible for infra red sharing...

i just got the phone its LOVE-LY .. only one problem getting so far .. i was trying to connect i mean file share with sonyericsson k508i but it was just waiting and waiting ... what is that .. ?

hi maria, well the lg u8120 is a very good phone, u asked about the ringtone quality.... well, it's not as good as nokia... though sounds pretty good, but when increases it's volume the mini sound speaker produces noises just like when we turn the volume so high of a speaker then it produces some noise..... --- bottom line --- "sound quality is not gooood"

I am about to purchase an LG8120. Can anyone tell me what the sound quality is like on the ringtones. Is it better than Nokia?
