well i had one of these, worked ok at first but about 8months down the line i picked it up one day only to find the whole phone had gone mix up on me. i tried the keys and all icons & info had changed. where is showed messages icon there was phone book details etc etc. main screen changed to, time messed up, couldnt correct any of it and then screen dimmed too, thought maybe an error with the battery but was ok in my b/f's phone. when this happened i noticed this seemed a regular thing as i was finding similar complaints to me. never used it again after that. has put me off lg phones full stop now.

OK PEOPLE LISTEN
The infared does not work with other phones, its not suppose to.
The infared in this phone will only operate when using it to talk to a Computer or a laptop that is all not to any other phone. ok??

send it into CPW. they will flash under warranty. thats what you get when you try it yourself. regardless. they have the know how to do it.
mobiles are very sensitive. people dont realise even keeping ur phone in ur pocket for 3 hours at a time adds moisture.
dont think u no it all. send it to 3G / LG or CPW. let the pros sort it.

I ABSOLUTELY love this fone....it connects to the computer perfectly, it has lots of memory, itz gorgeous, it takes good photos, it has loud ringtones, MP3 player is awesome, comes in AWESOME colours, BEAUTIFUL big screen, the internet on it iz wicked, the Video Camera Iz pretty Good, the texting is cool & i just love EVERYTHING about it...if your thinking of buying it! you should its an AWESOME phone....I luv It

Hi! I am using this LG U8330 handset for few months and it was working fine untill it got some unwanted sms. Then I made to flash this mobile. Unfortunately the version of files I got was for LG U8310 handset. Now I can't find an appropriate software/OS for my mobile. Does anyone have the files required to reinstall the handset U8330? Please, let me know if u have. I will be gr8ful.

hey peoples can someone tell me if i should buy this phone or not it seems to be pretty good,but after reading all the opions and i think there are few problems with the fone.I know its not all like that but still something could happen to the fone i might buy.so can you please tell me if i should buy it or not? please please please

Hello,
I've been given this phone a few days ago, and bought the sim card, all is well, except when i connect to "home", it's ALWAYS on lite and for some reason i can never (almost) can't go into chat (plus other functions). Sometimes it does appear when i don't press any keys at all... am I doing something wrong?

Please, i just bought an lg u8330. Can anybody help me: how do i connect it with the pc and how do i put music and stuff on it. i think with LG Phone Manager software from the original cd, witch i have, but i don't seem to be able to connect it with the PC. Please Help Me:)

I had the same problem with transfer, but i menage to go trough it.Set the com port to be the com*.Try 2 times and it going to work.See ya.
