I've had the 880 for about 2 weeks now. Got in on a 3 plan in Aus and pretty happy with it(upgraded from orange and got phone for free). Audio loud and clear (apart from some network issues). Reasonably intuitive to use and was transferring files from pc within minutes. Just make sure the fone isnt in a menu screen and then press the connect button in the top left corner of fone manager software. I found a free nokia media player program that can convert any mpeg or avi to .3gp file, and that is a very cool option to get fresh free vids on my fone but everyone wants me to b/tooth them! Charging every 3 days with a lot of calls,bluetooth fileswapping, watching vids and playing mp3's. This fone is exclusive to 3 Aus the brochures said and cant be unlocked to other networks. This makes it not as common. A friend with a razor v3 was impressed at the size of the fone in comparison to theirs. I'm pretty impressed overall and would recommend it to others. Didn't think I would be taking so many pics but now wish it had light or flash but night mode helps. Cheers, axiom

for all your PC problems follow these instructions:
1. Insert the CD
2. FIRST INSTALL the USB driver - don't install the Phone manager yet.
3. Once the USB driver has installed now install the rest of the programs on the CD
4. Switch OFF your phone and switch it back on again.
5. Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable
6. Your PC should now make a few noises and install the handset
7. When your PC says your new hardware is successfully installed you are ready to go.
8. Launch Phone Manager
9. Make sure you LG U880 is on its idle screen and nothing is running in the background.
10. press connect on the Phone Manager and your phone should now say connected to PC.
11. Press contents on the Phone manager and it should launch the file browser.
12. Now you can drag and drop music/pictures/ videos in and out of the handset.
I find it easier to drag and drop files into the left hand window on the Phone manager rather than the right main window. This is because it transfers the files directly rather than having to copy and paste.

The headphone that comes with the unit is terrible and has a custom plug that goes into the phone.
I saw a short adaptor that allows a regular headset with a mini plug to be used but cannot find out where to get it.
Does anyone know?

is this phone only limited for the 3 australia network? cause i ferry btwn singapore n australia, n i do have another sim card that belongs to the singapore operators. was hoping i could actually use this phone in singapore.

i recieved this phone today (in black) and it is truely fantastic ! it has everything u need and it is simple to use also is so stylish and extremely slim, great features !

i have bought bought The LG U880 phone recently and all was great untill today when i came to turn on the phone and it wont turn on.
The loading screen comes on flashes, and turnes off,
any ideas whats up?

Brilliant 'phone, nice features and small and light. Dos anyone know how to change teh open flip sound to something other than the two inbuilt sounds? Really want to sove this - though not crucial of course.

Help Me!!! i'v had this fone for bout 5 days now but i cant get music from my pc to the fone. i tryd the cable thing that comes with it n when i bluetooth music from the pc to it the fone cant play the file. Somebody help me!!!!

I got my phone for xmas and i think its great but i still dont know how to tranfer music to my phone, ive followed through my instrustion booklet but nothing is working!
When I set my com port i dont know what to set it to because there is no "*"
what do i do? its driving me mad :(

Hey all, i LOVE this phone so much it's awesome, accept one problem. When it's open the top doesn't sort of sit like if i tilt it fowards it sort of clicks foward... is this ok or did i make it like this?? does this happen to anyone else?

*sigh* I have done everything EVERYTHING to get the mp3 to work. When I turn off the phone in the phone manager the"*" still does not appear in the com port thingy. Any more sugguestions?
