Hi all,

Between V10 and Nexus 5X, which one is recommended?

My main points of concern are:
- call reception quality / WiFi and cellular data connectivity
- UI smoothness and fluidity

Can this phone be set onto 2g only mode in mobile networks options,?

I currently have a G4 in the UK would it be worth me getting a LG V10,? Or should I stay with my G4,?

Any advice appreciated.

Glad bought V10. G5 don't look designed nicely and smaller than G4 even. Just better processor and front camera. Not sure how much that can be seen practically in use..!!

Hi ppl, seems the V10 comes in different versions also different covers. On google found images of V10 white color withsquare shape from behind and others normal ones without squares,some have V10 written on back cover while others have it LG. Is there any difference in quality of hardware or software or LG released many back covers after initial release time?

I have the H-960A modul number. White without squares.

The reasons why LG G5 is a downgrade compared to V10 and why the G5 is a big disappointment:

LG G5 is missing these features that V10 has:
- manual controls for video recording
- app drawer
- dual window
- Q slide
- FM Radio
- removable back cover (makes it easy for 3rd party battery manufacturers like Zerolemon to create bigger extended battery)

- adoptable storage (it's an Android 6 feature that is missing from G5 and probably V10 also won't get it when upgraded to Android 6)

I have two of V10s. Both work flawlessly. The more I use it the more I love it. I'm not a heavy user, battery has more than 50% left after 14 hours. Highly recommend.

G4 speaker is a lot louder then V10.. Can't hear much unless it's real quiet.

Phone is absolute junk. My battery life is 3 hrs 4 hrs tops. Brighness lowered battery saving app all junk and don't work. When I'm on the phone screen goes all black and freezes when I get an oncoming call and I'm unable to see who it is tell I hang up with my current call. Camera and recording suck as well videos are very blurry. I'd choose samsaung any day over this phone and would never purchase another device other then a samsaung again.

I have tested a few Note 5 as well as I work in a phoneshop and it is one of the smoothest phones out there (especially if you optimize it and take off that silly flipboard and all that). As much as I love my LG G4, the Note 5, the S6 Edge and now hopefully the S7 and S7 Edge really are amazing phones....
