My thoughts on the V20:
- little bit taller, same width, thinner than a G4 (for me, it's same easily pocketed)
- better build quality (metal is better than plastic, duh)
- better durability (...is not MIL-STD-810G certified for nothing)
- better display (nice colors, much brighter than the G4, better view in sunlight) + not to mention the always on secondary display, that's a huge plus
- better battery life than a G4
- charges faster than a G4
- better camera than a G4 (+ the addition of the wide angle rear + wide angle front camera to play with)
- better system / firmware than the G4 (nougat is better than marshmallow, duh again...)
- better processor + gpu, the V20 IS faster than a G4, yes noticeably faster
- more RAM (4 gigs vs 3 gigs)
- more storage space (64 gigs vs 32 gigs)
- better audio on the V20 (the G4 sounded exactly like a cheap $100 phone, terrible)
These are facts from using both.

It's not compatible with a lot of my other devices, to include my fitbit. I don't get 75% of the texts that people send me and have had this issue since day 1 and it's been months and. We have tried a bunch of things to fix it. It just can't be fixed without me dropping a bunch of money on a different kind of phone so now I am stuck with it. Battery life sucks if you want to record video or listen to music. The video quality is good but don't plan on taking a good photo if you want to get a clear photo of art you made or text in a book, this phone wont do it. The phone I had before the LG G4 was awesome. 10 times better than the V20. I read a bunch on the V20 and it seemed like it would be a great phone but it's total crap. It's been nothing but aggrivating since I got it.

The phone is great, however back on New Years Eve, whenever I went to use the rear facing camera, there was a vibration internally by the camera causing the camera to be unable to focus. I have been researching since then and finally decided on the LG V20. I've been to the store multiple times to spend time getting familiar with it. So many different reviews both good and bad. You never really know if an issue someone has would be true for you because there are different carriers, geographic locations and user types. So here is my info - I am staying in Central NJ and using Verizon as my carrier. I love listening to music and using the phone to take pictures when I am out and about. I typically, do not play games with the exception of solitaire (I know, I know). So does anyone including this former HTC One M8 user have an opinion on whether or not I will love this phone as I believe I would? I am not a business user BTW.

The XZ is a great phone, but is getting a bit outdated and definitely is not as durable as the V20. If you are talking about the XZ premium, and have enough money for it, go for it. Looks like a phenomenal piece of hardware.

Brendan, 02 Jun 2017I just wanted to ask anyone who knows a bit about the LG V2... moreHello i sold my Galaxy s7 to buy one of these and i definatey do not regret it i wanted something with a genuine bigger screen not a stretched one with black bars when watching media. The bonus with the one i have is it takes 2 sims and a memory card at the same time and for those worried about call quality there is a enhancer in the settings and for me it makes the recieved speech very clear. As you know the back can be remved and the battery changed any time you like so if you wish to carry a spare you can but as i manage to get through a day quite easily i have no need to, when it comes to the camera it is verywe equiped i love the fact you have the wide angle camera there as well as the standard and all my pictures so far have exceeded my expectations. To anyone thinking about it take the plunge i did and definately dont regret it.

I just wanted to ask anyone who knows a bit about the LG V20 android phone. I have a LG G4 android phone and it has 3 issues that cant get fixed. Im trying to either get a LG V20 since you can remove the battery and also put in a micro sd card. I also was leaning towards a Samsung Galaxy S8plus but you cant remove the battery but you can extend the micro sd card in the phone. What are some opinions about the LG V20 am I making a good choice for a phone or is the LG V20 really a bad phone over all besides everyone talking about the camera glass breaking. I do enjoy LG Products and if I have to get a Samsung I will but I am still leaning towards the LG V20. I have read a lot about the phone but still what to choose. If someone can either message me or at least explain what I shall go with thanks very much. Also thanks for been honest about what you do tell me because it will make me pick the right phone. This would be the only real protection for the V20 camera glass. Or any case that does NOT have camera cutout. But these don't exist, so there is absolutely no existing protection for V20 camera glass.
