I use iPhone 6s as p... moreIf you understand how LCD backlighting works in comparison to OLED then you'll know that every IPS LCD has this, as the pixels don't actually turn off, they just are dimmed to as close to black as possible, then when you tilt the phone you are actually looking more at the LCD backlight, hence the gray. The V20 I would say has it at about the same amount as the iPhone 7, very little
OLED each pixel is backlit individually, and can fully "turn off" to black.

Just got the April 1, 2017 security update for my LG H990DS. Very happy with this phone.
Only issue is average battery life, could have been better if it had at least a 3,600mah battery imho.

I use iPhone 6s as primary phone which also has ips LCD screen but the quality of the display is different. Its really good and black colour doesn't turns into gray that much. There is very little shift into colour.

I'm convinced that is perfectly tailored to your requirements. The V20 is able to 4K video recording and playback, among a lot of high level functions, specially the professionaly matched sound recordings.

I'm using LG G PRO2 now since 3 years. It was never got any kind of update. It is still running on 4.4 kit Kat :D. But I'm still happy with the product. As it's running as good as it was running the first day. Still buttery smooth. The thing is I'm bored of using it now and want to change it :p. My only concern about G PRO2 is the display quality. It's good but the viewing angles are very bad. You'll realise it more when you are in bed and watching any movie. I love super amoled displays as it has got good contrast unlike LCD panels. That's why I asked how is the display quality. :)

Just updated overnight
I feel an overall OS improvement in speed and handling
It is still Nougat 7 and not 7.1
Finally i feel that LG S/W are not dead and they remember v20

And April security update is already seeding all over the world through OTA ,it is 750MB approx not 2.7GB, as Mr Mudailiar is calming ,and Dubai version LG V20 new update software version is V10g-IND-XX

AnonD-667046, 05 May 2017I'm owner of a note 3 , I would like to know , which is bet... moreI wud recommend V20 for sure, all specs updated, 64gb Note 5 is not available readly. Most importantly the Scots free attitude, never had any complaints. Only even after updated to Security Patch April, when restarts brightness dashes to 100% every time, and have to bring back to normal. This might be a wrong tick in Display. Anybody going through same agony. Let's Wait for V30 sealed battery all specs upgraded, dual Camera and 836 SD.

Only when restart brightness goes to 100%. Or during long hours of use sometimes. My deadly complaints are towards LG service after sales team. Software team which is dead, not responding to security updates, it's stuck on Dec last. Performance wise perfect in all respect. Only thickness off fonts needed, option of Bold! Luck is blind and uncertain, Sammy never had a brand leader. LG appliances were more common than Samsung. Now it's opposite. Naturally after earning three folds, advertising it at its best.

I'm looking forward to buy this phone but I'm a bit confused. I've seen lots of reviews on YouTube. Some says the performance is smooth while some says there are some hiccups. Also there is some issue in display as it has a light bleeding issue. I want to ask the users about their experience with this. How is the performance of the phone and is there any light bleeding issue on display? And how is the overall display quality. I want to buy the phone only for multimedia purpose I.e., for music and watching videos and movies. That's why I'm more concerned about the display. And can it stream 4K video on YouTube? Waiting for the reply guys. Thanks in advance. :)

G6 has sealed battery, glass rears, and no IR blaster. Would rather get a G5 over G6. My G5/V20 combo with Pixel is the best trio of smartphones I ever had. Not laggy like S7 edge. Small, medium, and large.
