What you need to do is correct the files in your system partitions. You can do this with a Rescue OTA. Applying a Rescue OTA does not require unlocking your boot loader, or affect your warranty status, or erase any of your user data.
I found instruction for installing ADB/Fastboot from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564453
rescue OTA image (6.0.1 - MTC20F) from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota
(Note that the OTA image linked is for Nexus devices...DO NOT FLASH THE V20 with that, you may be able to find one for the V20 though)

This past Friday and Sunday I got this message on my LG V20 screen while my phone was on but not being used.
"Your device is corrupt.
It cannot be trusted
And may not work properly.

Verizon says it should be replaced and showed me other phones, but I really like the V20.
Any thoughts?

Sad Dad, 29 Jan 2017I got this phone for my daughter for xmas....a week later s... moreIt is all about where the water gets to, Mine has been dropped in a sink (water running), used in the rain...with no issues. Let one drop get in the wrong place...and poof though.

Is it possible to get the speakers to blow/explode when you keep putting volume on a maximum? I tend to put my volume on max when I listen to music for a long period of time (Because I often forget my earphones)

I got this phone for my daughter for xmas....a week later she took it out while it was raining ... it got sprinkled with a few drops of rain and was toast. I was there, it's not like she dropped it into water, this was a lite sprinkle. This phone is not even a little bit weather proof. I have had good luck with lg phones in the past, but this one may have some issues with the integrity of the cover. LG customer service was of course no help since it was water damage, i offered to pay for the repair and they still wouldn't fix it. I would hesitate to purchase from lg after this experience.
