Expect an FM radio with RDS, also require LTPS IPS LCD screen, bigger battery (4000+ mah, non removeable), a robust & fast (deca/octa core) processor.
    :)

Maybe it's just me and my skills of finding anything technical about it are worthless. But I am the only one that cannot find either a actual LG Model Number for this phone or a benchmark?

Regardless what region, I can't find one that can be searched online via Google or elsewhere and then used for a search on a benchmark site such as Geekbench. I know many of the phones that have been released are not production models but I would like to see some benchmarks and some actual LG model numbers associated with it. Such as LG-VSXXX. Anybody who knows of one and can confirm it's model number as well as a link to a benchmark site would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using mobiles since they came out and not once have I needed to swim with it or take a picture of the inside of a U-bend. I do however like to be able to change the battery from time to time. Been waiting for a month for the delivery of my Note 7 and I can't wait another month now. They should make the new release date the 5th November. Seriously considering this phone now... but will be gutted if it's a pos.

Contrast only about 1,000:1 which is too low for flagship phone. Max deltaE (9.5) while the average deltaE is (5.1). Colour accuracy of V20 is too bad as a flagship phone.

I have tried all sorts of battery saving apps and the winner by a long shot is Go Speed. That app makes mine and my friends Note 3's typically still have 30 - 60% battery left when we crash at midnight...after a fair amount of use all day too. It's a fantastic app...just use it only when it prompts you to...otherwise, leave it alone and watch your battery level soar. Use it's auto start feature to stop most of your apps from running. You just do that once. Of course deleting apps you rare use helps immensely.

                                    Perfect power user tool.
Combine this with a Galaxy Note, and we will have the ultimate godlike smartphone: LGalaxy Note V20. (do not forget UV, Temperature, Humidity sensor, AirView, Gestures, and all other stuff, that was removed. And place the camera in the corner, where it is less likely to cover it. Ah, and do not forget the physical 2-level shutter key. And a camera mode, where the picture will be taken, when the shuter is pressed, not released. And please, do not limit the burst shots to a low number. This is, how a Galaxy Note 3 user was embarrassed infront of an iPhone 5s user: it can no longer shoot burst than twenty. Dirty secrets. But that physucal shutter (GT-i8000 and most xPeria-phones) can also be used as an additional feature in applications, so that developers have more possibilities. That missing search key already took one possibility away from the application programmers, but tools such as the Note 4 virtual on-screen keys, which can be enabled in the quick settings. One exsample usage are games. How important were those keys for Nintendo?)

You can find them on Amazon. Instead of complaining about how the battery is only 3200 mah, you can invest money on a 9600- 10000 mah extended battery and problem solved! I for one am excited for this phone, and if it does drain the battery quickly I can just buy an extended battery. It beats having a bigger, sealed battery like Samsung phones and having to order a new phone everytime it screws up.

Savor, 25 Sep 2016Consumers also do buy phablets because of bigger, better ba... moreHow does having a slightly weak battery defeat the purpose of having a removable battery? While those with sealed batteries have to live with degradation over time/bad cells/etc, and replace the entire phone simply for a new battery, simply having a removable one completely alleviates all of those issues. You can literally, if you are so inclined, purchase a stronger battery, from say, zerolemon, and bam...all your woes are diminished. You defeat your own argument in that case

As for the screen, LGs LCDs, while yes are slightly lower end than OLEDs, still produce vibrant images (at least from my perspective). We cant rely on pictures on the internet, simply due to any compression errors, as well as the monitor we are using could display the image differently from what the actual phone display does. (Especially if it is a picture of the phone via another camera...that is just stupid to trust.)

Also I see people by phablets, simply for features...in general...extra features than what can fit in a normal sized smartphone. Which LG provides in spades, as well as Samsung, just in different aspects. The least featured phablet would be the iPhone 7 Plus in this case, as it does not provide a 3.5mm jack, a pen, IR Blaster, MIL-STD shock protection, etc. (Software side is not based in the phone but in the OS, so it would not be fair to compare the hardware, based on software features.)
