Hello,
I just got 8.0 update, but the LDAC does not work. I have a pair of LDAC sony headphones and i connect them and it only works with aptX. I go in developer options and I select all LDAC options but when i go back they reset again to aptX. Any ideas?

There has been no Oreo update yet (OTA or through LG Bridge) for - ESA-xx (Eastern and South Asia country variants of the H990DS of the V20. As for - AME-XX, it will likely come a week after the - ESA-xx variants get their OTA.

Make sure you change the "charging" to "file transfer" when usb cable connected from PC to your phone. Go to setting and search for LG AirDrive. After that sign in LG AirDrive in your phone. How to Sign in your LG AirDrive? Sign in using your google account. Then just click YES/AGREE for the other step. Then Click the Software Update. After that the update for h990ds will appear. Then proceed to next step. Reminder MAKE SURE YOU DONT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE WHILE DOWNLOADING THE UPDATE!!!. If you want more guide on how to update through LG BRIGDE search on Google on how to use LG Bridge on your phone. They give the easiest method to guide you on how to use it. Very easy step they also concluded the image so LG user could understand. H990 version should already have the oreo update!

Do not waste your breath, I tried Lg bridge and there is still no update, once they push update you will get notification on your phone , just set your update to automatic

GrazD, 16 Oct 2018I tried it once but I thought Nova Launcher was totally use... moreIt's actually the best android launcher bar none - the most customizable, very fluid, battery efficient, light on resources (doesn't overuse the RAM or overwork the phone's processor) and very stable (no crashes). It can be tough though for beginners and the multitude of customization options and settings can get really get overwhelming and complicated for those who have never used a launcher before, outside their phone's native launcher.

I got oreo on my TWN h990ds. I dont get notification update on phone. I get it from LG BRIDGE which is LG app i install on pc. I connect my usb and check the software update through there. Hope this will help for those who still not get the oreo. Try install LG Bridge on your PC then connect ur phone with usb cable. Log in to your LG Airdrive in your smartphone then just follow the step.

A big THANK YOU for the much awaited Oreo update! For those who still haven't received the update yet, just wait a little longer, it will come later this year... Android Pie may or may not arrive on our V20s. Assuming it will, its ETA would be Q3 2019. I can't wait that long. The price of the V35 ThinQ/V40 ThinQ will be cheaper around that time so I might buy either of the two... As a power user of the V20, I can guarantee you, it's is a legit beast, yet sadly, the last of its kind. Its Quad DAC and Audio & Video capabilities are the main reasons why I'm hesistant to sell it... I long for consistent minor and major software updates on a smartphone, and LG still sucks at it. My previous smartphone was a Xiaomi, and they cater weekly updates as far as I know.

I don't get battery full notification icon on this new update and am not happy about it, i use to get notification when battery fully charged when phone is in idle, but now i just have to check to see if my battery is full, Not very cool with this.

Be realistics. The OS Android updates on the V20 are too much nice to be true.
