Lol.in nougat LG forced us the facebook,now the instagram is also a system app and can't be uninstalled...
This is definitely my last LG device (not just the phone)

I haven't received Oreo yet. But for those who have Oreo, how is battery life? I read that is worse with Oreo

After a very long download of Oreo 8.0, the installation will be done in a few minutes. So far everything works flawlessly, so far I have found no defects. Despite the sometimes massive criticism of LG's update policy, its developers have done a good job.

Just got the update of new firmware version so am guessing its oreo Android version, i was a bit shocked but glad it eventually came, it download is extremely slow but hopefully i will be able to download it soon.

Oreo on the LG V20 in Trinidad & Tobago... only 1 year late but happy to arrive all the same. Noticed some slight performance increases and the UI is a bit more fluid. Will continue to monitor.
** Please Note ** The OTA Update is pretty sluggish. It took the better part of the day even over a 100Mbit WiFi connection to get the download. Good Luck!

AnonD-760380, 10 Oct 2018As with me, after 8 hours only at 39%.Go to the LG website, download LG bridge tool and the LG V20 drivers, the update will take less than 1h, depending on your internet speed.
You won't lose any data, make sure when you connect the phone to PC to select "data transfer", same as when you would copy music etc.

Other then that,when you take a picture of anything further then 5 meters is grainy as shit!

Yep! Oreo OTA download is finally avaiable in my V20 SEA version!
