Why in the world, LG has NOT has included LTE band 40 in this phone. This LTE band 40 is necessary for JIO sim in india.(which is very very popular now a days.) Please, give a hardware update and include LTE band 40. Please.

AnonD-698510, 08 Sep 2017V30 is my next mobile for the reason many people listed as ... moreFirst produced G4 line had bootloops . i mean EVERY SINGLE G4 after 6-13 months.
I own V20 and i will probably wait for V40 couse SD820 4GB Ram and 64GB of storage with my 3 V20 batteries runs just well for another 12 months. Also find myself to love secondary display and IR i mean i dont use it for TV but i use it for LED lights in my room every single day .Ok V30 have some nice upgrades but for us with V20 i think it's not worth upgrading yet . Most valuable upgrades are a lot better secondary camera and waterproofing. I admit that LG is probably most inovative company in multimedia these days i would call it multimedia king. also dont forget that G6 with edgeless display come out before S8 ( i mean Sharp and Xiaomi did it first but Cameras and lacks on markets stoped them to make bigger sucsess )

V30 is my next mobile for the reason many people listed as "CONS".

      1. People complinaing about battery life, I am using Nexus 5 since launch until today with original battery. I don't think V30 battery could be worse than this.
      2. People complaining about no removable battery, I don't want removable battery. I have already bought multiple external batteries.
      3. Some people complaining about no more 2nd display, I hate 2nd display.
      4. Dual SIM ? Dual SIM with dedicated memory slot ? Damn this phone is sold.
      5. No IR, No FM .. meh, I don't use them for many years. No Stereo speaker .. who in the right mind listen from mobile phone speakers ??? 5MP face camera .. I don't even need that.
      6. Thanks LG for making V30 not bigger than 6"
      7. IP68 .. woo hoo ..
      8. Overall LG experience for me is "Life is Great". So many people are talking about bootlooping and I have seen none, so far. My family/friends are using V10, V20, G4, G5, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 ...

This is a really beautiful phone, finally LG did it! Skipped the chocolate bar screen trend, the confusion with the dacs and availability, skipped the 2nd screen gimmick and made this!

This is one of my favourite looking phones to date after Sony Xperia Z5. Added to my favourites, well done LG!!

After factory reset and still no improvement. I found it had no issues as long as the phone was plugged in just an issue on battery power. I bought a new battery off amazon for $10, swapped it in less then a minute once it came in the mail. Now the phone is working good as new with no issues. It is hard to give up user replaceable batteries after that.

most people want replaceable battery so they can buy a bigger battery or have backup in case of long trip/work hours which is easily solved by buying a power bank.

Who is complaining? I used lg g2,3,4,5,6, x power 1 and 2 and i ve been waiting for v30 to buy. But all those flagships same problem. Weak battery weak weak!! That's why i bought x power. But specifications are crap. G6 same problems. Some applications not hiding home buttons, even s8 there is option to hide. S8 has option to watch full screen on YouTube. But v30 stil not. G6 still has mediocre battery life. But lg didn't make any battery improvement yet. Samsung with smaller battery giving much better results. V30 Just abit better battery life than g6 that's cuz of 835 chipset not cuz of lg improvement. Go watch v30 detailed videos on youtube, still same problems. Im not hater, im fan of lg but still same problems. Im enough with lg. Expecting them to fix little things for years.. Dont kid yourself anymore.. Samsung win the war in my mind. I will definitely go for S8 active.. bye bye lg.. you guys go watch youtube on 5.2 inch screen..

I love LG V30, without any doubt it's the best smartphone in the market, I will buy it as soon as available in the market.

People like me complain of non-removable batteries, is because shorten's the life of the phone. If you cant change the battery, after it has degraded, then you have to throw it away, unless you can find a competent person to change the battery, assuming it can be done. But phone companies have n't learned their lesson, when it costs Samsung $5bn to recall the Note 7.
