grizzle, 31 Aug 2017Complete bs. No IR blaster, and a non-removable battery. ... moreSame here. I'm still using a Galaxy S5 because I haven't found a modern phone with IP68 and an IR Blaster. Bonus for removable battery, microSD, and wireless charging. I've been ready to buy a new phone for over a year now, but I don't see any options.

grizzle, 31 Aug 2017Complete bs. No IR blaster, and a non-removable battery. ... moreIR blaster? - Do you live in the 1990s, what do you need a IR blaster for these days. If you have too many components, buy yourself a Universal Remote.
Removable batteries waste space and are unnecessary. Are you going to be carrying another battery with you at all times? It's better to buy a portable battery charger instead.

grizzle, 31 Aug 2017I appreciate you providing a list of phones that have an IR... moreyou can post your opinion, no one said you cannot, but make sure you keep your "BS" inside your own quarters; if you need a IR phone go grab it and make sure what you say: I cannot or ever want to "hear" you...but I can always read what you are complaining about...whining..sorry....

Alan Townend, 01 Jun 2017I would like a Smartphone that is better than the Galaxy No... moreAlan as much as I agree with you is respect to sealed batteries and your car analogy, unfortunately millions upon millions of consumers have already proven that would buy mobile phones with sealed batteries, witness the success of APPLE, Samsung, heck almost all the manufacturers in the market don't supply devices with removable batteries.

grizzle, 31 Aug 2017Complete bs. No IR blaster, and a non-removable battery. ... moreWhile we feel for you and your plight of not being offered an IR Blaster on the upcoming V30, you have very easy solution of buying a good Universal Remote Control (U-RC). Of course, dropping a Removable Battery is easily more worthy of complaint. But having lived with my V20 for 10 months now, it's LG's UI and software, their paltry 100mAH battery capacity increase along with their stubborn refusal to supply an improved Selfie Camera that have me most irked.

grizzle, 31 Aug 2017Complete bs. No IR blaster, and a non-removable battery. ... moreThe only trouble is no one has it and it's not coming back. So this will still be hands down the best phone on the market. Maybe designate an old phone with an IR as an all-in-one remote?
