well the best phone in lg so far it's been almost 2 years using it... camera's are good as well speed and the performance are awesome.. if u wanna try snapdragon chip phones go for it..the price is far economical then the Samsung. this phones beats s8 and the rightful competitor of s8 note...u can easily play online games, battery wont be an issue in this phone..i love it...
if you are a lg lover and after getting urself pissed off bcz of these phones in the past (lg g4 or lg1 g1, or g2.)
i will suggest u try to use lg v30 or the next series..it will get u a better experience which u never realized..

LG G7 Thinq (2018) is newer than V30 (2017). So G7 will be faster than V30. You need compare G7 to V40 Thinq.
LG G7 Thinq has snapdragon 845 and V30 has snapdragon 835.
I dont understand why everyone compare G7 to V30.

( include game apps).

User, 12 Aug 2019because u installed third party apps and unwanted apps also.I'm on about software updates, not app updates, I never update apps, unless they have issues.

Ace., 07 Aug 2019LG V30 or LG G7 ThinQ..which should I getHi, I used a V30 and my sister bought a G7. I compared both devices and I can say that G7 is more snappier. But V30 got slightly more battery backup.
G7 can record 4K 60 FPS while V30 can only record 4K 30 fps.
Audio quality is almost same through headphones but G7 have DTS software enhancement and a fairly good speaker.
I like both displays. But G7 is more vibrant.

Used this phone for 1 year and now I gave it to my father.
No complaints at all, never had any issues.
Audio quality through headphones is great. Display is good, but probably not as good as Samsung’s. But watching HD content is amazing.
Camera is good. Very clear image with less noise even in low light. The only issue with still photos is that the camera cannot capture moving images clearly.
Speaker is average. It is loud but, It’s just ok quality.
