    V40 is an extra camera or five in total. Even same design just add another cam in line! We needed change and on screen operating! LG no updates have labelled you a kind?

The main difference is how much power the headphone jack can deliver, it will drive higher impedance headphone much better than most phones.

The V30 is only one generation back and is a great phone. I have a 128GB card int he slot and the battery lasts all day no problem.

          How is the audio quality of the songs via headphones compared to sony flagships, is it marginal between these two brands or the difference is noticeable. I use sony flagship and their hi-fi dac sounds amazing, but i want to know if the quad dac on lg is better or mostly the same and if it is worth buying just for the audio department.

            Is this worthy upgrade from g6?
            The g6 is wery good. Got it on a sale. Now I can get v30 on a discount (lg should always be cheaper than other similar specced phones course of bad software support)

I'm currently using a V20 for a year now and planning t... morei'm a V30 user, one thing tho, it is a worth upgrade in my opinion in terms of design, display, camera, and the DAC (i think it is crispier than any other lg phone with DAC, and slightly below the Fiio Q1 mark2 DAC, which is impressive)

                  Hi. I'm currently using a V20 for a year now and planning to buy a V30. Here it costs $467. Would it be worth the upgrade?

                    i dont think that having only 4gb on phone in 2018 would even give a near flagship experience

What matters to me is real-time/real-life benchmarks i.e. on how you actually use the phone. I'm not too worried about the glass breaking as I always put a high-quality screen protector and a case to protect my devices all the time.
                        I'm very much aware no OEM is perfect and can't give you a perfect experience. I actually think Samsung might have an edge over someone else. The reason for Android updates arriving late is for Samsung's own developers to properly test the OS and not rushingly release something that isn't fully optimised or half-baked or very little UI changes or new features.

                                Gino76ph, 20 Oct 2018I'm concerned about the slow updates and the 5MP selfie cam... moreEvery phone has some drawbacks, s8 exynos variant has poor graphics performance and snapdragon variant has poor performance as Samsung codes os properly for their own exynos, but apps in play store are optimized for snapdragon chips or adreno graphics, So, don't mind much, if you want and if its possible then return the phone and buy a preferred one. Else enjoy and focus on good part of phone, also s8 screen replacement costs 50% of phone price, and glass phone can get damages for small drops, also for s8 cant buy proper screen guard

LG is not known for quick updates. In fact they may be a bit more slower than Samsung. I would gladly choose Samsung Experience UX than an LG UX updated slowly.

V30 is a good phone no doubt, I think your concern about the front cam might be over with an update. On the other hand the S8 has a really good front cam which I'm really pleased with even in low light conditions. As far as the upates are concerned yes they make some or the other changes to your phone, for example I updated my S8 to the October security patch and got the "super slow motion" & "AR emoji" which is really handy. Don't worry I think the future updates might fix the minor issues on the V30. Hope you enjoy your new phone :-)

The videos I've seen so far doesn't match up with my current Moto X4 or my old Xperia XZ. And the slow motion video looks 480p quality which is really bad.

But I am not sure and I want to find out if there has been any enhancements to the camera since release i.e. overall quality, sharpness, dynamic range, sharpness, clarity & detail especially the selfie camera as I think the 5MP is just not enough for those all-important selfies.
                                        What do you think?
