Anonymous, 01 Aug 2018I am wondering if anyone has seen any deal breaker issues o... moreyes, the screen. LG is notorious for their inconsistency with their P-OLED QA. Search the web about the blotching issue, I bought the phone the other day and like many others I experience this issue. I will keep the phone since I bought it for very cheap and for the most part, the issue is not something that you constantly see, but It's there, and It's ugly when you see it.

Vipin, 10 Aug 2018Imo if u can get the deal now you shd get it. I don't know ... moreYeah. There might have been some glitch giving extra 8-9k on exchange instead of the advertised 5k. I got the V30 black version and it was there too. I got 2.4k + 8.7k = 11.1k on exchange for Lenovo Z2 plus. which i had bought for 10.5k 2.5 years ago. :)
From next day onwards, the exchange value was being shown as 2.2k + 5k = 7.2k only, so i guess the glitch was taken care of.
Anyway, congrats to everyone who benefited from this. My final price after SBI discount was 22.4k. Factoring out the exchange, the effective price turned out to be around 25k, which is a steal for this phone.
Already upgraded to oreo and I am loving it. Battery life is fantastic. After topping up to 100% yesterday, total usage time is 12.5 hours, including screen on time of 4.5 hours, and the battery is still at 63%.

Vipin, 13 Aug 2018Difference is huge only if you're using high end headphones... moreSo I currently use sony z3 and it has hi-fi audio, it has great sound, in reviews the say that xz premium has also great audio quality, among the best, but because I use 50USD headphones and only 320 kbps mp3 quality.If I understand you correctly, you are saying that I must have flac mp3 quality, 100USD and above headphones to recognize the difference,and if i don't than the difference between my z3 or xzp and v30 will be marginal?

For usual 10-100$ headphones you wouldn't notice much difference. But yeah if you're audiophile and invest big bucks on headphones and this phone is for you. Its capable of giving great HDAC sound upto 60 oms.

And v30 may or may not get Android p (altho it shd being flagship it shd get 2 major update but lg is as near as shit as Samsung in terms of updates). So my point is, now its only 1 yr old (since launch), better enjoy now that wait. Its my personal view.

Just i got my delivery also. Great service by amazon. B'ful phone. Enjoy. And btw i exchanged my 3.5 yr old Note 3 neo for wopping 9400, was going to exchange it for 1280 again honor play, those shitheads launched the device but didn't have the stocks. Anyways it was my gain, i got way better device for amazing deal. The color moroccon blue is great.

Seems like a great device. Ordered for 23k after exchanging my oneplus one.
Hope this lives up to expectations. Only real downside is 5MP front camera. Other minor cons are lack of dedicated portrait mode. If this model had 6gb ram, it would have been cherry on top. But this is really a steal deal right now. Kudos to LG India and Amazon India.

Phone color is irrelevant considering its a shatter prone glass back, so robust back cover is a must. So spend some bucks to buy a good protective cover for this beauty also.

I rate it even higher than oneplus 6. Coz it has IP68 rating, Wireless Charging, Dual DACs which was the reason i didn't buy 1+6. And today i great amazing deal.
