      I just discovered that if you want to view youtube videos on the V30 and G6 in full screen you have to pinch the screen like you want to zoom out and you will see zoom to fit written at the top of the screen

          One thing I dislike beside front camera is navigation buttons. It's too plain, too big and ugly.
          Why can't they make it look like samsung or HTC U11+ navigation buttons

          The STBR is the best I've seen on android phone and the DAC is excellent addition!

            This phone is excellent.

            If you have concerns with the Front-Facing Camera, adjust the light and skin tone settings and use the flash every time. It makes your face look far better when you're not in direct natural light.

            As for the Skin, I don't think people give LG enough credit. Their bundled widgets look really good and integrate well with Google Accounts such as calendar. I made a massive improvement to the look by installing Black Pixel theme. It is white text and icons on a black background, with blue accents. It looks really good (and a bit better than the orange accents in the high contrast theme, but if you prefer orange then it does work well - it just wasn't to my tastes.)

            The battery life is hard to comment on, because I live in an area of outer Sydney with acceptable reception but varying cell signal strength, which does impact on battery life. However, I noticed over an hour more screen on time compared to my HTC 10 with similar usage but all of the following extras: a bluetooth device connected at all times (either a Xiaomi Mi Band 2 or an LG Watch Urbane 1st Gen (no LTE). I also leave location services and history on, as well as wifi and bluetooth scanning. I didn't do these things with the HTC 10. My usage does involve regular web browsing, social media usage (facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat), lots of music playback, and I am please with battery life and manage 3.5-4 hours screen on time to a charge.

                Front Selfie Cam is a Rut, why I understand started from V20 G6 till this. See price is abnormal, no other model in line, still no adverts nor sales available, all in limbo. This standard is not called for.

                  This is a nice phone. Good features. The only problems are the trashy 5 MP front camera and the boring User Interface from LG. LG has been pushing their luck with the same old school and low clarity 5 MP front camera since G6, V20 and now even the G6 Plus and the V30 as well. It is also not a decent 5 MP at that, images are a little blurry or hazy. LG needs to step up their game or lose ground. The UI from LG is simple and clutter free but very boring, icons look outdated. If these don't matter to you, then it is a great phone at a good price.

                    they took the dual sim + dedicated sd slot out of v30. i hoped the v30+ got it back.....but it didn't. although the v20 has a fair bit on screen issues. its 2 sim + sd slots benefits people who are frequent traveler. the video orientated camera would be great, it is perhaps one of the few that has that feature.

                    I believe that it could be a trend setter if it did not take away whats impressive and rare in the first place. (after all, this is a phone to start with).

                      Finally, after 3 months of waiting (i am actually waiting for this phone for a lot longer, like from June when first rumors started coming out), it will be available in my country (not officially) for 750 euro, and that is LG V30+. I guess that V30 will be around 700 when it becomes available. I will come back in few days to update this.

                        It is obvious something abnormal must have happened, V30 was never officially launched anywhere in the world, only south Korea homeland. Now it's worthless to buy above 500$ Mystery is still unresolved, only speculations!

                                    I’m waiting for V30. I see adds for the V30 on tv saying available soon. It’s almost December and I still can’t buy it anywhere.

                                      Lg V30 is the best looking smartphone.It has everything as the other smartphones have. However,ithe camera is NOT good in comparison. DO NOT get this one- LG V30 - unless you DO like it . Period.
