Why is it LG taking so long? Are there manufacturing issues? The phone is still not available here. It’s a bit sad because this phone deserved better.

armin, 05 Nov 2017guys any expected date and amount of lg v30 in local market... moreApparently they have the demo phone at LG showroom in Dubai Mall but I haven't gone there yet. Nothing officially, I was told launch would be by Nov. end when I asked in Jumbo.
Yes I fear same Pixel screen issues, people have already reported some issues with V30 screen, so I'm not sure it's worth the risk buying this now.

Still 20% penetrative in world markets, only USA is role model, rest after 2.5 months awaiting and awaiting for now not do attractive cell, prices must be adjusted downward, as has happened with Note 8, LG is lazy failed company, can't handle one model V30 after sales or supply chain!

Time for LG to put more focus upon the front camera as well. The 5mp setup is getting old and the V30 should have upgraded to 8mp or more.
We've always enjoyed the LG flagship primary camera setups and that they use decent sensors beyond just cameras, however, the GPS could use much more attention as well. When it comes to additional sensors we think more is better (so add more please)
It's nice to have a SD835 phone (finally) and let's hope the 2018 lineup of flagships uses the opportunity to launch with 2018 hardware. We're looking forward to the SD845.
LG could also win many points if they bucked the trend of removing the 3.5mm as this engineer (as well as other Mertensia engineers) are still baffled with OEMs creating more of an issue replacing a well developed audio method (and HW) with USB-C.
We travel with various energy inputs, so non-removable power cells aren't an issue despite most of us being power users. Power banks, vehicle adapters and always nearby chargers let us prefer water-resistance to removable power cells (Just our opinions).
Finally, we'd enjoy 8 gigs of RAM as standard for the 2018 flagships and no less than 64gb with 2tb SD and (like some Asus offerings) dedicated dual SIM slots rather than hybrids for the non-US variants.
The only other things else we'd prefer is full LTE Frequency bands to further the quest for eliminating the multi-variant scenario. Doing so might assist with quicker OS updates and upgrades. (we're not the biggest fans of bloated OEM UI's since most 3rd party launchers are simply far better than the OEMs.
Overall we enjoyed the V30 and will enjoy them going forward. Took a bit getting used to the new display but OLED seems to be the future of flagships with 2k+ resolutions. Many of us always liked the LG IPS technology and hope to see 4k OLED in the future.
