Aadrian, 17 Oct 2017I have the Note8 since last Friday but I would recommend to... moreOh yes, I'm definitely waiting for the V30, (in Blue!) before I decide as I've narrowed down to this and Note8. I've played with Note8 many times here in Dubai and yes it is awkardly long and large. I do have large hands and this year for a change I've decided to be open to buying a big phablet else I would not even shortlist Note8 (hated the idea of phones getting bigger)! I do feel that I'm gonna use the S-pen as I scribble, draw and sketch...
In fact I'll wait to compare even the Mate 10 and Mix 2 (if it comes here) although I've ruled them out. Pixel 2 XL might never come here as UAE doesn't get a Google Store. Just waiting for LG to move their asses and launch the phone!

I honestly didn't appreciate just how light it was until I used my iPhone 7 Plus. I think this device hits the sweet spot with weight, size, and bezel to screen ratio. I've got small hands and it's still a one handed capable phone. The screen is crisp, clear and has a pretty blue tint. The camera is pretty good. Front facing isn't the best but it's still okay. No lag or troubles with app refreshing. Quad DAC makes my not so great headphones perform in a way I never thought they could. It's very impressive. Calls are very clear and crisp with no breaking up or static issues. Signal does not fluctuate and data speeds consistent.
Overall, it's a really great device. 9/10

I've only had it for a week and a half, but so far I love it. Pretty much all of it., screen, camera, SOUND, speed, and features. I don't think I'll delve all of its capabilities for awhile and I'm coming from the V20 so I'm pretty familiar with a related setup. My first 2 LG phones and I love them. Not missing Sammy. BTW, battery life rocks.

I bought the Note8 because of the S-Pen which I use a lot (I got a Note FE as well). But the size, man it's big. The V30 is much smaller even though it's got a 6 inch display. I definately want to experience the V30 and how it is in the hands. I expect it's much easier to handle than the Note8. Unless you want the s-pen, I'd rather go for the V30 to be honest. In blue.

Why not have users take on first hand experience, it's been days, I think it's still not readly available, or supply chain shattered. LG wake up one model cannot handle, how come Samsung launches God knows so many code names models. Awaiting!

Still six weeks onn, launched its scarce as poison, nowhere to be available, just few who get it from USA under deals. 800+ still too expensive, as to 420$ recently for V20

So now that all the flagships of 2017 are released I can come back and decide on the V30 & Note 8 :) This couple stays the best 2 phones of the year
Unless the V30 can impress in person (and I really hope so) I may end up going for a Note 8 in the next 2 months

This one has stereo fm radio. Good one LG, most flagships doesn't have this basic feature

Generally looking the LG V30 is beautiful phone;however,when it in your hands as using you can see it was differently ( or worse ) compared to the S8 . Too expensive,

Its been almost 4 weeks since release and this phone is still NOT availabe in any stores!!!! Does this phone exist? When is it going to be in stores for sale?

A 1000 dollar phone should give us atleast 10 to 11 hours.
I would wait perhaps 6 months to 1 year until the price comes down

V30 is awesome but why they put that stupid p-oled display ??? ips show the best colors!!) like v20, now white looks like with yellow tint.. its annoying!!!!

Best phone ever! Almost with no flaws whatsoever...
