What about the DAC chip, wich one is included? 32bits/192hz worth anything if you are going to use wireless headphone? Wich protocol (blutooth or wi-fi) and headphone can work with this sampling rate?

LG exposed, over a month, but still looking, it's price of 900+$ looks abnoxious, and we are now not willing to spend. What ever it maybe, I have made a budget, and wait till it comes down.

Your theory is interesting- Could be possible... Manufacturers release their product in haste to beat competitors and cash in on purchase season. Last year or earlier some brand did something similar- LG or HTC can't remember.

Anyway we'll know soon, hope it comes to stores sooner than later- I have time till end Nov to make a purchase as that's when Note8 may see price cuts and Mate 10 would also launch

So i am sure that Google wouldnt have picked LG for displays if they had some hardware problems.

As for the other part, i do agree with you. After all those years, this was the first time that LG didnt tell us when will phone be released and the first time that i couldnt predict when will it be released. At the start of september, i was sure that V30 will be released in the beginning of october, but i didnt predict that it will be only in US, we still dont have dates for Europe, which is really sad coz i live in Europe. We would usually get the date on reveal day, but with V30 it was different. They delayed the G6 as well, but we had the dates for it even on reveal day.

I have a theory about V30 delay (even though it fell to water when V30 was released in Korea), and about them not giving us a date of release for other countries, listen to my story :D
If you remember the first few days after V30's release there were stories on the internet that V30 is not actually using an f/1.6 but an f/1.7. And we even saw that pre-production models had bad low light photos. So my guess was, that LG didnt manage to get enough sensors for LG V30, and so instead they put an f/1.7 in those pre production models, and still havent managed to get enough sensors till now, so they were waiting october to start shipping them (october as the month that they were/will finally be able to get enough sensors). I hope i managed to explain it well to you xD So that was just my theory :D we will see if anything has changed in few days when they make reviews for US models (october 5th and 6th) as i didnt see much of those Korean models.

Agree with all the facts you've stated, it probably is a case of calibration that they can sort but as one of the leading display markers in the world I'm surprised they can't get it right 1st time.

It's one n half month and the damn phone is nowhere to be seen..I mean for effin Christ sake- all phones launched since then are on sale, even iPhone 8 that was launched 3 weeks ago is here.
Soon the Pixel and Mate 10 will be here and everyone who was waiting will buy one of these and again LG will be left with empty pockets! Why can't they just make sure they're ready to sell when they reveal it? Or f*ing don't reveal till you're ready!

AnonD-178032, 02 Oct 2017iPhone 6 was released in September 2014, and HTC One M7 was... moreI know that very well buddy- I owned the HTC M7. Yes CrApple did copy the metal and antenna lines design in a way but what was worse was the half the industry (esp all Chinese brands) then just went berserk and ripped off the iPhone 6 design shamelessly!

When Apple does something, it becomes an industry standard so nobody got inspired by HTC but when Apple did the same, everyone imitated them!

At the risk of digressing far from the V30 for which this forum is, I used to like OnePlus when they burst onto the scene and claimed smartphone killer- the One+ one and One+ 2 were nice phones- they were unique in design and stood apart from the crowd. Then One+ suddenly thinks its a good idea to copy the iPhone for the One+ 3 and 3T.
Now as you said then you are designing a glass slab there's no much scope to differ drastically but there's a thin line between inspiration and rip off- iPhone 6 took the design principle from HTC and put their own spin on it- camera placement, rounded sides, body colours etc. But when you copy the iPhone 7+ dual cameras, their placement, antenna lines, even the damn mic and flash the way OnePlus did, it is moronic!! I for one (pun intended) wouldn't want to be seen dead with this carbon copycat!

I've made my point and rest my case, again apologies for discussing all this here.

So iPhone actually copied someone else. Weird how that goes huh?
With this rectangular slab form factor there will always be some inspirations, or designs borrowed from earlier devices, it's practically impossible to come up with something 100% original.
Yeah the OnePlus 5 is a bit similar.
