V30 is the best LG phone so far and for that price many will choose it over iphone and samsung. But comparing it to G6 that's half price than V30, will be smarter to buy G6. Looking on specs same battery despite V30 newer faster processor. G6 has better pixels density and both same resolution, 64gb starting for V30 but can expand G6 with sd card up to 2 TB! All by all G6 better option of best value for quality.

Im probably going to get this Lg, I was sold at headphone jack and QUAD DAC!, It will be my first Lg smartphone so bit hesitant im normally a HTC and iPhone guy I use a HTC 10 as primary music device and a iPhone 6s plus, but the removal of the headphone jack on their latest smartphones and as someone who's motto is Audio quality first and wanting to continue to use the smartphone with no compromises with some high quality wired headphones ( PSB m4u2, Nad hp50, and b&w p7 wireless (use in wired mode lol) has me ready to leave the other htc and apple and just have one device, look forward for the reviews and hope to pick one up soon in Australia

Does the lg v30 have slimport like the v10 and v20 did? I know the g6 did away with it but i really need it... Pls help

According to their official page it includes it. I may only be a European feature as it has rarely been seen in the USA anymore,sadly. I would really like to see this feature on all devices though.

Im still waiting for lg nuclun until now no news. I bet its better not to rely snapdragon forever. Samsung eynos. Huawei kirin they doing great job!

new iPhones offer nothing new to gadget industry, all their "new" features have been used by many brand/devices over the years.
stop hoping that people would care about iPhone X(pensive).
i would rather buy note8 or v30 for that price and still have leftover money for a nice dinner.

Uh, GSMArena guys. I'm looking for a phone with a headphone jack as I have a high end IEM. Probably do not recommend HTC U11 in your alternatives list please. It's not even close or similar to an LG V30.

user, 15 Sep 2017Before you write something...think first, OLED not only in ... moreI say it again, in case you missed it, "think first before you write": first I wrote about Exynox processor which was developer with the help of Qualcomm, then out of the blue you wrote about A11 being more powerful than 835 and 8895 and now you wrote about panels (which I mentioned because Apple placed an order of 70 mil display to Samsung - they would not have been able to produce iPhone X) saying that LG also produces OLED panels. I do know about the investment that Apple did in LG for producing panels for them but they have yet to produce anything for Apple, or they have but in very small quantities. The first shipments of X will be with Samsung panels. Still I do not understand why you brought Apple on an LG page. If you want to pay them for overpriced products write on their page. You have yet to make a point in what you want to say other then stereotype sentences.

Finally a phone worthy of my hard earned money, most importantly FM is back, i don't know why LG nd Samsung stopped putting FM on flagship phones. Time to upgrade my G3 to V30. To me v30 is the best phone of the year.
