LG V30 vs LG V30S ThinQ camera comparison

GSMArena team, 04 March 2018.

Conclusion

Unsurprisingly we didn't notice a big difference between the AI Cam of the LG V30S ThinQ and the Auto mode on the LG V30, and that's perfectly normal.

AI Cam can yield different (better?) results when shooting in specific situations (like at a dark restaurant or when capturing Flowers or Food). In any other case the Auto mode is perfectly fine and would produce nearly identical photos.

Another conclusion (and one we already knew) is that the LG V30 is still a great camera - one of the best at flagship level. And if you're a tourist, out and about, snapping pictures of tall cathedrals, the LG V30 is in a league of its own thanks to its 120-degree camera.

As we head back to HQ from the Mobile World Congress, we're carrying an LG V30s Thinq with us, and you can bet we'll be making a full review of it soon.

Stay tuned!
