The LG v40 is an awesome phone! one thing I don't see listed in the specifications is a selfie camera but in all reality it does and I forget what it's called it's the third icon button on the camera mode and it takes you into a selfie mode but it's not listed in the specs

Really nice one...but what about the battery? Could be a little weak?
What about a release in Germany / import? Does anybody know a good shop?

Battery on my LGg6 lasts longer than the samsung s8. The v30 also got very impressive battery life reviews and should last longer than Oneplus 6. Not sure about the V40 battery SOT but I am postive it will not be that bad.
Only thing preventing me from buying the V40 is the price. I do not want to spend to spend 800usd on any smartphone that will be outdated within a year.

For a device that it's main focus is media, LG fucked up by making it with a meager 64gb of storage. I use my V30+ and frequently record audio that uses up 1gb of storage. For what I can gather they didn't even build a higher cap version like they did with the V30, in which a limited version 256gb was built.
That is the main reason why I skipped it, and instead chose the V30+.

Compared to Oneplus6T, it has better sound and better camera, yet pitiful battery which in my case is more important, apple notch with less screen surface, yet width beyond 7.5cm, less ram+storage for double the 6T price.
I really fail to understand how they justify double the price? And why ppl pay that...

Why lg is very late to release Lg mobiles in india... Samsung gave s9plus 845sd againg note9 845sd... Lg g7 845sd now v40 again late

Only v30 has the best battery life. It can last 2 days with moderate use! Lg phones are great but the battery is poor. We need v40 review!
