The display I expected to be good, but I was surprise to compare it with my colleagues with S9+ , S8 , Note 8 and Xs and to see V30 BETTER. NOT YOUTUBE COMPARES . LIVE COMPARES
It was a surprise to me, and especially my colleagues !!!
Only Note 9 is same level of quality !!
I repeat, I was surprised as I don't even care about that
Now I just preordered Mate 20 Pro - 100% for the battery and Wide angle camera. So I'm not an Lg fan or any other company fan . I'm a fan of my money - to get the best for my money

It's an enormous industry , with enormous 💰💰💰 - as they sell one piece of device more expensive than an entire PC. Samsung Huawei, and especcialy Apple have ENORMOUS MARKETING BUDGETS to pay YouTube-ers ...

I will compare Mate 20 Pro with my current V30 and if the quality of camera is not better I'll take my money back

I do agree that 900$ is too much for a phone, but then again you cant put your TV in a pocket and call, text, take photos, etc. (phones are made to literally replace basic PC functions and be portable). Both have an entirely different purpose. And just so you dont get the wrong idea, OLED is a lot more expensive than LCD, if you want a phone with an LCD display you will pay less, if you want one with OLED you will pay more (just because those panels are smaller doesnt mean they are cheaper, after all, you need to fit everything in that small body). You want an OLED LG TV? Well, you need to pay min 1700$. You want an IPS? You can get same TV with all same functions (Smart, 4K, etc.) for less than 700$ (and LG has best both LCD and OLED TVs). There is a difference so please consider it.

Flagship phones can't get away with barely adequate batteries any longer. If you want a premium price you need a premium battery. Otherwise midrange is the way to go.

Can't wrap my mind around or convince myself to spend $900 on something that weighs less than half a pound (lbs) and the size of an oversized candy bar. A 2K LED television ($900) is thirty times larger uses way more material like glass, metal, wires, sensors and all other things and last longer than most flagship phones built 5 years ago. $900 !?!? UNBELIEVABLE LG ?!?? Shove any smartphone that's worth more than $300 and last only two years up your $#@!?

How can LG be so stup!d over and over regarding selfie camera.
Making wide angle second selfie camera is good move, but only 5MP (AGAIN) kills it!
They made previous mistake with 5MP V30 selfie camera. I expected V40 as flagship have a selfie like Pixel 3! Not brutal 5MP again in 2018!
LG really needs to fire there smartphone departement.
