RishiGuru, 28 Aug 2021Amazed to hear not even a single new feature in added with ... moreNot really "not even single new feature", but just some minor changes don't even count to one .

UI is charging.

The setting menu is de-bubblized and showing more information within one page. Obviously this will be the greatest imporvement to me since I hate how they look in android10.

Pull down menu of notification bar has been reassigned with new color scheme, and you can have button dedicated for alarm/stopwatch.

The LG gallery took a great leap forward in the sense that more information are shown when you enter the fullscreen mode and pull down a little bit. You can see real time filter and AI suggestions to that photo and you can apply the effect immediately whenever you like. And you can view the histogram of the photo and its geological location in the map, all information about that picture are on the same page. LG did a great job on this but unfortunately I fail to bring this to android10. This version is only available to An11.

And everyone is talking about yhe changing of capture+ and memo+. More polished UI and need to relearn how to use them.

The LG keyboard's UI also redesigned as well. But I would say that is ugly and lacking customization and buggy. And you don't have a choice to get a dark theme for your keyboard.

Besides scrolliing, mute app is no more usable in V50S.

And battery consumption is 2 times more.
I am use tethering and my V50 can go in maxium 22hrs from 100%->20%, on the other hand V50S would be like 12hrs.

Ram consumption also worser than before. 4GB of used RAM is a must in android11 while only 3.5GB it is in android.
After ADB debloating, my V50 somehow even get to reach 2.3GB of used RAM but V50S just stucked in a bottleneck.

So it will be receiving the update quite soon. However what other pain points did you faced after Android 11 update other than scrolling speed?

Also did you perform hard factory reset after 11 update?

I have iQOO 3 which is ultra smooth & fast on Android 11. So is it the question of LG not pushing a stable update?

DO NOT UPDATE TO ANDROID11

Scrolling speed has benn altered and there is no way to change it.
New scrolling action will be 5 time slower than android10 and significant lag&delay will be experienced.
This bug have been reported by pixel's and oneplus's users.
And google is not going to fix it.

I am concidering downgrade to android10.
Since there isn't in fact any new functionality introduced in LG's android11 update.
Life will be much easier to stick with the old android10.

Repleat, DO NOT UPDATE TO ANDROID11
