Buying LGv50s second hand 6 months ago. Update it to android 12 and performing hard reset. So far no issues. Using it for social media and emulators

    Fingerprint sensor sucks. Feels like a first generation device to have fingerprint unlocking.

I used to think it was overheating that was causing this, but lately, at times when the phone is charging, it shuts itself off even when it's not heated - and it kicks back on and off again for as long as it is plugged in.
        is it a bug?
        is it a hardware problem?
        is it a hidden safety feature?

            I using v50s but lcd screen show white at left from up to bottom. Lcd screen is cracked, after fall , and wrong open lcd protector. Can I only change lcd screen or must + frame ? Overall function is normal.

                        Before doing downgrade remember to backup ur data.
                        Must use refurbished option in LgUp for clear flashing.

                                You should backup everything and try to reset it.
                                Also the original ROM maybe corrupted. You might use LGUP to flash a new ROM. Google for lgfirmware
