DavidRegalJnr, 27 Feb 2020High refresh rate could be a deal breaker for mePlease explain in detail what's the point of having 60+ hz refresh on a smartphone anyway? There is literally no practical use. And don't give me smooth scrolling excuse. I don't buy phone to just scroll. High refresh rate is just another gimmick.

                The phone looks gorgeous.
                -3.5 mm Headphone jack!
-Normal flat screen! ( it looks flat so I hope it’s not curved like Samsung)
I just hope that LG has improved the quality of its OLED display because
every flagship phone with LG display (pixel 4xl for example) looks dull and less bright
                comparing to Samsung.

For me spec wise is almost perfect! It looks pretty good too!
What I didn't like is the use of UFS 2.1 instead of the UFS 3.1, minimum storage of 256GB and a 512GB model with 12GB RAM, 16GB is still overkill(it doesn't say but I guess it's LPDDR5?), a bit smaller screen would have been better and with 1440P resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides instead of just the back, maybe a telephoto camera as well, to bring back the IR blaster, 90 or even 120 Hz refresh rate, with high touch refresh rate, latest gen ultrasonic fingerprint reader, USB 3.1 Gen 2 (or 3.2 Gen 2).
Well I may go for this instead of the S20 Ultra, it has a headphone jack with a good DAC!!

LG and google giving only original android OS stock. other branded phones installed their own security software and useless apps. so phone will slow and hang.

Ok, So I've now cancelled my S20 pre-order. My S9+ had 3.5mm jack, notification LED and Aptx. The S20+ has removed all of these. Time to switch to LG

When it comes to LG phones, everyone just loves to complain but the fact is they have made huge improvements over the years in terms of quality and reliability. The last 2 LG phones I bought had ZERO problems. I applaud LG for continuing to include a headphone jack, micro SD card slot, OLED screen, and other crucial pro-consumer features. I would not even consider purchasing a phone without those things so LG has an enormous advantage over competing brands as far as I'm considered.
