the only LG i have are G4 and V50s with dual screen... loved my g4 for its removable battery, nice camera controls and quality, a bit concave display... i just revived it this year by replacing the battery, hopefully it wont bootloop... many people avoids lg because of that...
bought used v50s this year, and due to not so hifi ears, i cannot separate it from hires audio of my xperias... but i love how the audio options are there... it is hard to pick which is best even with my personal taste...
but as for this wing... this is my personal choice for best designed phone for the year so far...

LG G4 for 5 years now, still have a few G4 in use in family besides my one. But no, u dont have to own a phone to know if its best or not. LG V20 was by far one of the most feature rich, yet disappointing phones at the same time. There is many things wrong with V20, and one of them is the infamous bootloop, that sadly caught it as well. All that aside, the actual best smartphone LG ever produced was LG G2, and thats known by anyone who knows even a bit about LG as a company and their phones. I am not talking about personal opinions here, i am talking about facts. But even that aside, everyone can have a personal opinion. In my opinion, every single recent phone is utter trash. I am referring to all companies. Wing on the other hand is finally something that took my attention away, something different. After beeing so long a huge phone enthusiast, i started getting bored of plain powerful phones. Thats where u start wanting something different, something that is not same as every phone u owned... I absolutely love my V30, and i dont want to go to the evenly matched Snapdragon 765g or no Quad DAC and jack, after 3 years, to get the same performance. But thats the thing, i am willing to trash all that aside for something other than performance. That can also be a successor... Cheers Zzzz

It's got all the flagship features that the V20 is missing, including IP68 resistance, Qi wireless charging, and an AMOLED screen instead of IPS.
And plus, the design and materials of the V30 just blows the V20 out of the water. SD835 also automatically makes V30 better, obviously.
Not to say the V20 is bad, but the V30 is objectively more superior to the V20. I say it's the last greatest LG phone because it's still to date the thinnest LG phone, it has no notch, and I believe it's one of the last LG phones to have an unlockable BL.

YUKI93, 13 Oct 2020Lol please, you clearly didn't use their newer phones.... moreI used to own an LG Q6 before I moved to Vivo V17. I must say, there are things that the 2017 phone does better than the 2019 one. Many things.
LG cameras never disappoint, my Q6 can perfectly hold its own even today with sharpness and smoothness in video. Power was never an LG's strong points, but enough for most people. LG even does updates really well; my Q6 went from Android 6 to 8! Sure, now they are pricier, but if you can get a good deal on one, I promise you, you won't regret it. You'll join our nice little party of LG lovers.
But yeah, LG phones are unfortunately overpriced at this point. Kinda sad.

I don't really think a lot of people would want to bring an extra bulk in the shape of the case all the time. So to have it detachable at least do offer some sense of flexibility.

If LG Wing had different version that support hiking with more support for it will perfect device. But game sound useless for this device unless you using this for disadvantaged for gaming

However, I find this dual-screen approach to be much more "legit", as it's part of the device and therefore doesn't require to take it on or off (if you choose to only use the primary screen). Overall, it's a cool concept phone.
This has nothing to do with common sense. It's all pure personal preference, I do hope you realize that.
To quote cincyreds62:
"it's obviously not targeted toward you. to say the [half]-dual screen is useless is ridiculous. [...] obviously the phone is not for you. i, on the other hand would get a lot of use out of that secondary display."
Overall, a cool concept phone (had to repeat that twice in case if it didn't click for you).
