LG-G7200 and LG-T5100 at CeBIT

LG Electronics drew the attention at CeBit with its LG-G7200 and LG-T5100 swivel design mobile phones.

The new LG-G7200 tri-band mobile device features an integrated VGA photo and video camera with 4x zoom facility and flash embedded. The model's rotating display functions as a camcorder. The 360° swivel head increases the number of angles pictures can be taken at as well as making the subject matter easier to shoot. The LG-G7200 mobile phone has a 2" 176 x 220 TFT display, which provides a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and is capable of displaying 262,000 colors.

The LG-G7200 supports a multitude of multimedia applications. Using the phone's integrated Web 2.0 browser and Java MIDP 1.0 capability, users can download further applications, polyphonic ring tones and games to enhance or personalize their mobile phone. Along with the featured multimedia player (AAC and MPEG4) and EMS/MMS functionality, the LG-G7200 mobile phone takes advantage of the in-build VOD application for audio and video download and playback.

Despite the features included the LG-G7200 is compact in size and weigh just 116g. For optimized mobile experience the LG mobile device comes with a 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery. The G7200 digital carmcorder phone will be available up April 2004.

The LG-T5100 is a dualband mobile phone with an integrated 1.23 megapixel photo and video camera. The mobile device features two color displays. The main 262K screen is offering an excellent possibility for clearer images providing a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Thanks to the 270° swivel design still photos and videos as well as self-images are easily captured. The external 65K 96 x 96 pixel display provides information about network connections, battery rate as well as incoming calls and messages received.

The LG-T5100 MMS enabled mobile device offers GPRS connectivity and JAVA MIDP 2.0 support allowing for fast, reliable access to online information and the latest downloadable games and applications. Owing to integrated the Sound UI (User Interface) technology, developped by LG, dialing of numbers from the phonebook and accessing the phone’s software occurs simple and easy.

The LG-T5100 mega pixel phone is expected to be obtainable in Europe from June 2004.

1.23 mpxl camera and today we have 41 mpxl in a phone.
