Mediatek unveils Dimensity 7300, 7300X brings dual-display support
Mediatek introduced two new chipsets today dubbed Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X. Built on a 4 nm process they come to succeed the Dimensity 7050 and virtually identical with only one key difference - the 7300X supports dual displays.
Both chips come with 4x2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs and offer 25% lower power consumption compared with their 6 nm predecessors.
Mediatek equipped an Arm Mali-G615 GPU and an in-house HyperEngine for graphics and flawless gaming. The 7300 chips should offer 20% faster FPS and 20% improved energy efficiency.
Dimensity 7300 and 7300X support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage and come with a new Imagiq 950 12-bit HDR ISP that enables dual simultaneous video capture. Display support tops at WFHD+ at 120 Hz and Full HD+ at 144 Hz, and the 7300X also supports those on a second screen that foldable phones usually have on their cover panel.
Mediatek did not say which phones will get the new chips or when that might happen. We expect the Dimensity 7300X to appear in the Motorola Razr 50, which was already certified, and its launch is just around the corner.

It works really well on my 2024 Razr I'm creating this comment from my cover screen, I got to say I'm very impressed with the battery and performance.

Means that with both chips clock its GPU the same, the Mali-G615 MC2 will just have the same theoretical max. performance of the G610 MC4. 7300 should've equipped with one extra G615 cluster but eh, maybe even dual cluster is fast enough.
